It's not everyday that you see the Coast Guard helicopter at the jetty. They certainly did put on a show while we were fishing for flounder on the Texas Gulf Coast.

We always set our bait bucket inside a 5 gal bucket full of water for transport. Mud minnows work too. Nice rod

I bring along a five gallon bucket for my active flo-trolls to transport live bait. I dunk the flo-troll inside the 5 gallon bucket to oxygenate the bait.

Back in the day our family would fish the bea c h side of the Jetty with just dead shrimp during high tide. We would catch Golden Croakers, speckle and Sand trout , Reds and Flounders too.
