This piece of apparatus used to be out at the station in Peacock gap. My dad drove it on many occasions usually during fire prevention week in October. He would give kids rides through the parking lots. The kids would ride up in the hose bay or a lucky couple of kids would be able to sit up front and ring the bell. This truck holds many fond memories for me. Dad, Captain Ken Mazza, unfortunately passed at the age of 51 just one month after his birthday, and three weeks before the birth of his first granddaughter, our first daughter.
