Part of the hate comes from how this was dropped…an August release with little warning in a black bottle. So most people assumed it was going to be a dark, sweet and rich fall scent…but it wasn’t anything like that. That caused a lot of influencers to throw darts at the fragrance profile. The comparisons are all over the map. But people outside of the fragrance community didn’t have any expectations, they just smelled in Macy’s and bought it because it smells great. So sales are through the roof and the fragrance snobs are hating on it. But here is the thing….this fragrance will be on everyone’s best summer freshies list for the next 20 years…so…
