The Coledale Horseshoe (most of it) - 15-01-24

Winter is here in the Lake District, and there's no better time to be up in the mountains. Although there was only a thin layer of snow, it transforms everything into a winter wonderland.
Join us as we take on five summits in quite glorious conditions, on one of the best walks in the national park.

Oh I remember those steps going up and coming down and a fair old pull up to Grisedale Pike too, so if I ever do it again, it will be via the old mine track, much more civilised. I think my favourite horseshoe in the whole of the lakes and amazing views from the summit of the Pike and you took the exact same route as me, the first time I did it, but I also added in Outerside and good to see you added it last minute too. Hiya, Alan. Oh yes, Grisedale Pike is never easy, infact it gets harder every time. But as you say, it's a great walk. I was gonna go down via the mine, but didn't fancy crossing the stream. I also underestimated how far we had to go, ended up going down Outerside in complete darkness. Thanks for watching, and take care.
