To this day The Collector is one of my favorite horror movies. It has everything that makes film a cult classic: smart and resourceful antihero protagonist, terrifying slasher, simple yet thrilling story, cool practical effects, blood and gore, memorable ending. Everything about it works just perfectly.

Some things didn't make sense, but you didn't have time to dwell on it because you were still so drawn into the movie. I was rewatching it last week and it's one that I definitely need to add to my movie collection.

My favorite horror movie too. It's very thrilling because the main character is so likeable i wanted him to survive and the dude in the mask looks so disturbing and actually scary😂 Also the plot is very good and original for a horror movie and the characters make few if any generic dumb decicions

Many parts of the plot and tropes are predictable and very bland/generic. I feel like if the traps were more imaginative and realistic then it'd make up for it but otherwise I don't see how any horror fan would put this movie "up there".

I got a copy of this movie as well as the sequel signed by the lead actor, Josh Stewart, in a rather unique way. I was actually taught in school by his mom. It’s not the greatest movie ever, but the cat and mouse nature of it is a lot of fun and tense the first time you watch it. Happy you are covering these films, Zoran!
