Huh... I only just came across this vid of yours and saw a little bit of my footage in it - nice :-) Haven't been down there for a while but watching your video bought back some very nice riding memories. About time I did the loop again I think. Really nice vid, thanks for sharing it. Enjoyed watching that.

The right gear, the right revs’, the right position on the bike, the right view of where you want your front wheel to go……not the obstacle that you want to miss!!!!

In my opinion, you should only grip the seat with your knees whilst going up hills, any other time you need to let the bike move around especially going downhill and tricky ruts. That’s why they invented those steg pegs which I hate with a passion lol

Time for a twin 270 bike with more low down tractor factor! No stalling, plenty of low end push for when it gets really technical.
@MotoRidesAustralia
@MotoRidesAustralia Жыл бұрын
That's interesting. Instinct leans towards the single having more low rpm torque, but the offset twin has twice the firing, hmmmm 🤔. I was thinking the twins you would have to work a bit harder, but it might be the opposite.

@@MotoRidesAustralia the 270 degree crank Leaves a gap for traction in the firing order, bang, bang, pause, bang, bang, pause. Not sure about other twins, but my CRF1000L tractors down low very well on hill climbs and in technical sections. I weigh about 100kgs in riding gear and have other gear onboard, with the bike as it sits weighing around 250kgs and the motor can almost idle in 2nd gear and putt along on flat technical sections. The only time I stall it is when the traction control is turned up above Level 1.

Is it possible to drive a car along wheelbarrow Ridge Trail?
@MotoRidesAustralia
@MotoRidesAustralia Жыл бұрын
In its current state, I can’t imagine that being an issue, depending on the car of course. But after heavy rain, proper heavy rain, it might be eaten away a little.
