When I saw this for the first time, I must have had my brain turned off, because I thought it was their mother who was giving birth. Also, I thought it focused on Nettie first before she left Albert’s house and then the rest of the story focuses on Celie. I also assumed Nettie’s father didn’t want Albert marrying Nettie because she was her favorite daughter and he was being overprotective.

Hey WB folks where’s our A Nightmare On Elm Street 4Ks? Those movies are important too and deserve some love and respect. I’m hoping next year with the 40th anniversary of the original, we start getting Elm St on 4K. There’s no need to act like they don’t exist. Come on WB, please give us the GOAT of horror movie series on 4K PLEASE! They should have been out already. Just because a Color Purple remake is coming doesn’t mean this movie deserves more attention.
