The best red shades for summer aren't shown here. Summer wears watermelon (Kettlewell's soft cherry) and blue red, preferably light, similar to Kettlewell's cherry. These are closest to true red. Burgundy and raspberry can also function as reds for summer. The colours mentioned are from Carole Jackson's original palette of 30 colours for summer.
