@@johnfraleee yep, Jordan has huge heart man to be a guy who had a losing record as freshman in college, to make the jump to Olympic and world champion within a few years is nuts.
@johnfraleee
@johnfraleee 3 жыл бұрын
@@2Minihats right, his skill alone would make him a world medalist, maybe champ. His heart is what made him a world champion continuously and in dominant fashion. If Spenser Lee didn’t have as much heart as he does he probably wouldn’t have won NCAAs this year, let alone have wrestled in it. I’m not saying guys like Kyle dake and David Taylor don’t have heart but if it were just based on skill vs skill, I think Taylor and Dake would have won more than they lost against Jordan. It’s pretty amazing how he goes 120% in the last minute of matches.

@@johnfraleee Dude doesn’t take no as answer! He has to win because in his mind he’s the best. I want Lee on the world team so Jordan can retire, Spencer can be the next torch bearer for the US. Hope he gets some wisdom from Jordan before he goes, or Jordan has something to do with coaching at the OTC.

I'll easilypick a 33 year old over a 23 year old :p early 30s are arguably prime for competing. It's right before your physicality starts getting extremely hard to maintain due to injuries and mileage. A lot of atheletes have also compteded for around 20 years at that age and achieved what they wanted or realized they probably never will achieve it. The passion dissapears. Also you're smarter, wiser and have A LOT more high level experience in your early 30's

Stop it. The weight cut has nothing to do with it. JB had mastered making 74kg. That’s nothing to him. And Jordan is NOT going anywhere near 86kg. You're allowed to tap the forehead to control and create distance from your opponent. There's also gripping the back of the head/neck to control and set up of offense, which usually must be done quickly to achieve it's effect and which often looks like hitting in real-time. If it becomes too violent or doesn't serve any purpose the ref will usually warn them to stop.

King Jordan shattered his ankle and missed 13 weeks of training prior to losing to Dake. He is much faster than Dake, much more technical and defeated Dake for a full decade.
