I don't believe the team adds another big contract at the WR position right now. They would be committing over 50m to it. They want to build through the Draft. I also think they ideally want a big X WR. They can find one in the Draft that has been stocked with talent at the position.

Aiyuk seems a bit too much drama. Texting out about his contract situation… I’d rather see the money spent on a good left tackle. I also think having an accurate QB who can go through his options quickly will make all our receivers better.

Aiuyk is a little smaller than Terry. Aiuyk is 10 pounds lighter and about the same height (Aiuyk is about a half inch shorter). Fitz was listed at 6-3 and 218 during his playing days. Basically, if you adjust for the fact that Brandon is surrounded by better talent and coaching and Terry has another year, their stats are about the same and arguably Terry is a little better in the pure receiving sense. Can't say much about blocking but given Brandon's running mates, I'd put Terry just below him at worst. Only clear advantage is that Brandon is younger.

Aiyuk is bigger than Terry, you’re trying to use combine numbers instead of numbers in the league. Terry is faster than him and that’s where it stops. They can make both better which would open Terry to different coverages he’ll face.

Tired of Terry taking a back seat bc of his circumstances. Terry is better than Aiyuk, Aiyuk is nice, but if you gave us Aiyuk last year and gave the 49ers Terry, they would be better and we would be worse and the respective stats of the two players would reflect the difference between having a good OC, a great line, and other weapons distracting from Terry, and Aiyuk's stats would reflect EBs offense...

Personally, I don't think he's that much better than Terry, a little better route runner yes, but given the situation Terry was in absolutely not!!!... that much better than Terry
