On social media, people lose their filters and tend to forget everyone is a person. Anonymity is a powerful drug. It wasn't always like that though. And there are certain communities where it's much worse, like KZbin (here), Twitter, etc. I actually used to make friends on InvisionFree forums in the mid 2000s where communities were small and discussions were so civil that we had to create our own fun. I think the rise of texting and quick consumable media has made us less likely to think about our words before we post them.
@SirButtahКүн бұрын
I noticed this in 2010 or so. I made it a point to be positive, productive, and authentic. Giving grace to others, and being a voice of reason. I'm vocal and bright in person as well. I find it important to be true self on and off. Its not "just social media", because its really us communicating with others. When the phone gets sat down, its still us. People hide behind "trolling", but its really how they feel.

Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything." 2. 1 Corinthians 11:3: "But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God."

You make good points. I have a lot of respect for your thought process. I grew up with an analytical mind myself and am happy to see someone of your generation exploring wisdom. Keep on this track, it is a good one. The path to wisdom is a hard one, it often results in a path toward the road less traveled. Stay objectionable. One thing I learned is that even those who squander their knowledge always have something to learn from. When looking at everything, it helps to choose your perspective first rather than heading in head strong, and letting your emotions do the talking. Life is nothing more than a matter of perspective. You can choose to see negative things or choose to see those same things as learning experiences that give you knowledge and allow you to grow. As life goes by, your knowledge will grow and will do so as long as you live. You will always look back at who you used to be and be amazed at who you have become. Thank you for sharing your journey.

So I usally try to comment like I would do it personally to a person. As a yearlong commentor I see many things coming together: 1. bots of any kind from random spamming to harassing/ bought viewer bots cheering from shady sites (strongly not recommened usally your account gets hijacked by them sooner or later), random bots with specific agenda spamming controversial things. 2. Frustrated (and/ or lonely) people , usally there are many different subgroups each with their own filterbubble (or digital lore the allmighty YT algorithm feeds your mind), so either in*CL (in>cell) frustrated female groups seeing independed young woman, frustrated religious groups etc. Also from what I have seen in life that from 100 % of people at least 1% percent will "hate" you from the start no matter what even if you polite etc. [its not about you its about them at that point] So if I had 70k subs and 50% are bots thats, 35k real subs and 1% is around random 3500 haters and like 20 of them are actually comment so thats 20 hate comments per video. Its important to be resilient its a normal dynamic nothing can prevent.The problem is youtube implemented a new language model bot based censorship which makes commenting very hard because a word (regardless a context) can trigger the whole comment as instant deleted.

I generally enjoy content that generates creator-consumer interaction more than videos or posts that never has interaction from the creator. Konfidential is really cool to his fans and tries to greet and interact with everyone. More fun than just watching. As far as being a jerk online? That really depends on the circumstances. Sometimes you've just got to point out the incongruity of it all.
@user-ud7ce6gn3nКүн бұрын
Internet has the only actual freedom of speech, but the thing about it is that most of the time it looks like "everyone's view is important and matters, except yours - yours are crap, your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries", but that absolutely no-one is safe from criticism is what makes everyone equal even though people are critised pre-emptively, which I find actually useful since it either forces a person to fix parts that don't make sense and grow a back-bone to protect parts that do make sense, or it shows that a person wasn't planning to follow through with own words. It does come with a sacrifice of people who need support and self-assurance, but when nobody is critised we get people who don't question necessity of own actions, don't question own beliefs and are self-assured based on arrogance instead of competence; because people need to reinforce the weak points or switch to better things rather than fooling themselves with an excuse that it's always the fault with the world, so there would be no incentive to take responsibility for own actions and change for the better

I understand, some people have different frustrations but hide it into blaming or bullying you for anything else to not focus on what is hurting themselves. So their ego is playing themselves too at the same time and it gets worse until they listen to what is bothering them truly... What helps is to totally focus other comments or people and things in life you love. What do you love and appreciate about your people around you, especially the close ones and your life or about you? Just being weird and attractive doesn't count ;)... Sometimes taking a break and just doing what ever you want in the way you want it anyway an not all by a to do list style... But for example being more thankfully for things you forgot but are there still, the main things just. And also in the comment section you just could seek out the comments who truly care about and the way they write. Are sentences written in a way where you can see that the writers took some effort to not write in a strange way or with many flaws, do comments have any special added value for you or not? ... And ok being weird and attractive is at least good to start with too ;D, I like it, many girls being weird in a bad way, often idk why but I just click away and don't listen anymore. But your content shows love and interest towards people who are okay and good but struggle, you help to get a much clearer perceptions of things where people started to forget more and more... Just sometimes we have also to care only about only themselves again, because it's hard to help others when you stop taking care of yourself enough when you do so and only people who are ready truly to be helped. I think I must not tell it somehow because you already know most things I say, my english just sucks sometimes and I'm not sure if I missed that point. And so on. I like to watch your videos and I missed those informative short but not too short videos which don't even take 10 minutes mostly. Sometimes there are some exceptions about certain topics which could help when they're longer... I am grateful that people like you exist, i love (some of) them ;)... I wish y'all a beautiful evening

It seems bullying is a way for the bully to reach out, sort of a cry for help because the bully is the one who needs help. Bullying someone is a contact seeking method, a challenge, to create a relationship often for the purpose to make the bully feel better. The bully does realize that he (or she) poisons the space with oppressive energy from which nobody benefits, not even the bully. Bullying is a kind of contageous mental virus, and the best way to rid ourselves from it is to absorb it with positive humor. Unless the bully has a permanent mental illness caused by either a deep trauma, maybe long time of abuse, or a chemical inbalance in the brain that causes psychopatic irrational behaviour, the bully can learn to develop stable social skills and cure the need, or rather illness, for bullying. It is much like taming a scared animal.

The majority of comments are not negative. The majority of viewers don't leave even comments. It would be very unfair to characterize the comment section as a ground for cyber bullying. There is always a small minority that has major real life problems and act like bullies online as a projection of them being the target of bullying offline, or being failing individuals that are harshly judged in real life. Please remember that most of the viewers are actually indeed very positive and wish you the best, you and any other content creator. Most of us just watch for entertainment, or while eating alone. Listening to an interesting perspective, have some agreements, some disagreements, nod or smile, then move on.
@Bahamut998Күн бұрын
It depends on the individual. Lots of the topics and things you say are very strong ideas and cleaving ideas. Which can create more debate than others. The more comments you have, the more controversial and cleaving you are. That's not necessarily good or bad, it just is. Actually I think it's good, being strong in opinions is good. But don't be surprised to have comments disagreeing with you. All truth is subjective to yourself.

1:10 we can call this a transfer of attention. The vital need for social interactions is now fulfilled online. In the 2000-2007 the coms were more niche and peoples had their exchanges in the lands of forums. Back then topics were more selective and "normies" had not yet transferred their main focus on web based communications.. If the internet does down peoples might find their way back to real life but this wont happen unless the nukes go boom (or hurricanes ruin ppl lives like in Georgia right now). Thanks for the contact I might use that later, be careful on the spam..
