I have two friends dating single mothers. One has three boys and the other has one boy and one girl. To be fair, they're both nice women, in both cases the father is in jail and out of the picture entirely which I think is probably the best you are going to get with a single mother. Both have their weight under control despite having multiple kids too, most women blow the fuck up like a bouncy house after one pregnancy. Both of them have had to do a lot of shit themselves and aren't completely incompetent either, they know how to check their oil, change a tire, fix the sink, cook and clean. Single mothers are always an absolute handful though, you're making a commitment to more than just one person and raising some other dumbfucks kids. Granted it's not the kids fault their dad is a fucking waste to society and their mom fucked a guy like that to make them even exist. It's not your responsibility unless you want it to be, and they didn't come from your ballsack so you can always just bail. My ex was one of those girls with way too many guy friends. The majority of our conversations would be about her guy friends and her latest conversations with them. She would snap random guys she hasnt met before, stay up late to call her guy friends, and before we started dating, she talked about how many times shes been rejected, aswell as ranting to me about how a guy rejected her. Even when she asked me out to our first date, she immediately started talking about another guy she likes. I didn't recognize how big of an issue this was at the time, even though it was such a huge red flag, and i still persued her anyways like a dumbass. Throughout the relationship, hearing about all her guy friends pretty much all the time made me feel as if i wasn't enough for her, so i texted her a lot more because i felt she would leave me for another guy if i didnt. She broke up with me for this after a lot of conversation about it, and oh my god if that isnt the best decision someone else has ever made for me. She had so many other red flags ontop of this, but i wont get into it. She always told me "im a loyal and loving girlfriend", yet she never showed for it, and thats why she emphasized it so much. Becuase she wasn't. Anyways, moral of the story, NEVER EVER overlook a red flag. Do not give them your heart because theyll just destroy it. It becomes so much more trouble than it needs to be. If shes truly the one, things will develop naturally and smoothly. If roadblocks appear, its a sign of trouble. Run.

It might be hard but it’s not impossible. Becoming the type of man that women choose is a must if you want to avoid being a jester and chasing after scraps. That’s why I recommend holding out and being alone for a while instead of chasing. At the same time though, it’s important to have good social skills and be able to talk to women in the way they want to be spoken to. I think you did not explain the "competitive" flag well. If she tries to one-up you a lot it's diminishing. But, in certain areas, if a woman shows behavior of competing, it might just mean she's ambitious. That she has aspirations. And a person with no ambition or aspiration is a miserable person. so you should *not* date a woman who doesn't have a thing to be competitive about. I don't mind dating a girl who cooks better than me, or gets better grades, or exercises more often. If she supports me in my ambitions the way I support her in hers, it's very promising for a relationship. Don’t entirely agree with all of this and so far things have been really great with me and I’m dating a gamer girl. It’s been more than a year now. Also there’s a couple of stuff that could be taken into account, some people could be aware of their own flags and try to work on them. So maybe an idea for a future video could be a green flags list. I would include self improvement in there since anyone that tries to work on themselves for the better is always a green flag for me. Especially because if they’re working on the red flags, I met someone that was working on that and I can say that the progress she made is really good. Half of these things should just be considered your opinion and definitely not given as a universal truth. Having healthy friendships of both genders is a green flag. I feel that when most men 'put work into themselves' they mean get fitter or make money - we have a society that hasn't valued or encouraged emotional development and maturity of men, which is what is really meant by self improvement. Sadly we have so much media and tradition that roots women in men's minds where their role is to be accessories for men, and so many people have grown up completely believing this (because it's everywhere - in films, social media, but also in plenty of families). Then men (such as the one creating this video) criticise women for not fulfilling the role the men believe they should be filling, rather than questioning the ideas of the roles themselves. Men such as these believe women are there to be ideal for them in a script of femininity, to meet them performing a script of masculinity. When we drop these scripts, we can be much freer, have more genuine and open friendships, and have relationships with the smaller number of people where that is compatible, appreciating that every person isn't there to be attractive to us.

I'm not getting lost anywhere your first sentence is meaningless. You say he makes good points without bringing one up and you don't counter anything I say. People do tend to have less close friends when they are older, this is even more a reason not to isolate someone from a whole gender. If my partner has a lot of friends I'm very happy for her and glad she has that support - it takes pressure off me as a partner when she has other support avenues. You identify a problem (people not having many close friends) and then choose to make it worse (saying you should isolate someone from male friends). If one of the male friends brings forward different intentions with my partner, knowing that I exist, then my partner would cut them off because he isn't her friend. That's not my partner's fault and I shouldn't block her from close friendships in case one of them turns out not to have been genuine. Here men are the problem for not being honest about intentions - not women. The thing is, I know that close friendships between gender are fine. I have 6 very close female friends, all platonic and all lovely. We're all good at being honest and communicating, and have all remained friends whilst having other relationships. I know men can have wonderful friendships with women because I have them. It would then be hypocritical to say my partner can't have many male friends. This is without saying that under your logic, bisexual people shouldn't or can't have friends etc..

Social media is incredibly addictive and over the past decade it's only become more addictive and predatory, it just seems that everywhere I go people are just looking at their phones doom scrolling. On the street, people walking down the road with earphones and scrolling, in the gym, people sitting on the benches for ages scrolling and scrolling instead of actually lifting weights. Everyone feels the constant need to take a picture of something to show off online, their dinner, their shoes, a selfie especially girls do this. I feel very lucky that my current gf is not like this and sees sharing personal life on social media as a negative thing and pretty much only uses her phone for texting and calling, but my ex was a full on social media junkie and it was the most depressing relationship ever.
