I have been trying to convey this idea at coffee hour to science types of the universality of truth- in the sense that for the Christian; philosophy, science, medicine, technology must come under the higher category of the good, the true, and the beautiful, so theology must inform all things, so I really appreciate your articulations.

Awesome! I'm journeying into Communal Ontology a lot in my work as a chaplain. Pointing and encouraging people towards the relationality that is already present within creation as well as towards greater authenticity with others in their lives (to build community). It serves as a corrective to Western Individualism's lie that truth and identity is found solely within us rather than also through a greater sense of purpose and meaning in community.

No joke I read your book and florensky’s, then explained communal ontology to a girl I liked, she said it was the most romantic thing she’d ever heard and now we are dating😂

I was reading the book of Ruth yesterday and was struck by the passages in chapter 3 regarding the six measures of barley Boaz gave her. Their communion wasn't complete until her redemption from what was the deceased Elimelech's sinful legacy into life through Boaz into fulfillment; Israel proper. In short, the six was incomplete until this redemption and marriage. Had Ruth declined the six of incompleteness (both prior to and after the six measures brought about in time) would have simply been put on repeat...6...6....6, ad infinitum: Hell. The path Solomon didn't follow. Great episode, btw and glad to have found your channel!
