Do you select “Conversions” as your campaign objective right from the beginning even for top of the funnel? Isn’t it better to run Reach or Traffic for top of the funnel and then retarget the engaged audience later on with a Conversion campaign?

@@learnwithshopify It appears there were some errors with the original ad that needed to be corrected. Could Layout errors prevent the ad from being duplicated once it's already gone live? I fixed these (All the layouts that had yellow triangle) and re-published the ads. Let's see if that takes care of it.

Hi there, I have another question. Right now you've set up the parameters to Facebook. Is there a way to do this for Instagram too? Looks like we can only set up one parameter per ad, but my Ads are going to be placed on Facebook & IG. Also, when you use the Post ID in order to use the same Ad for both audiences, you're only grabbing the Facebook ID and using the same Facebook post. If we have ads on Instagram too, how do we do that for IG as well? Thank you!

The cost per acquisition in India for most eCommerce / d2c brand varies between 500-600 Rs to as high as 3200 Rs. You will reach an idea stable CPA only after running a good amount of ads/ experimenting with different adsets, campaigns and creatives across different funnels of buying cycles ie- broadly splitting - new audience(attention/ interest at top of the funnel) desire ( middle of the funnel- retargeting) and action at botom of the funnel (retargeting). Long term it's better to have products which are likely to get return customers as cost of repeat conversion is lower. There are also a lot of factors like social media, social proof. I would also highly suggest you invest in other cheaper channels like email and web push marketing to engage with your traffic from ads and not completely rely on just ads for revenue :) Short answer - I recommend a daily minimum budget of 1000-1500 Rs(15-20$) or 35k-70k monthly budget ( 600-1000$)

Hello . I would like to know your opinion on my facebook optimization tactics right now. Usually when i deciding to increase or decrease budget or to turn off underperforming ads . we use a timeframe of 30 days to make that judgment as accurate and efficiency as possible because we believe that some ads is good but just at that time (timeframe under 30days) , our customers may not be ready to buy (Some customer buy stuff first day of month or some customer buy stuff and the end of the month). So I believe that if i make any decisions in a timeframe of less than 30 days , that judgment will not accurate as it should be . I want to know your opinion

Hey, Juana. That's a great question! If you duplicate your ad and start a second campaign, then it would be billed separately. However, there are two different ways of defining the cost for ads on Facebook - one is campaign spending limit and the other is account spending limit. If you're using campaign spending limit, then you'll be setting a budget for each campaign. If you're using account spending limit, then this budget is set across all the campaigns you're running. Basically yes, but make sure you have an abandoned cart campaign (email or sms) on your store. this makes more chance. But scroller people (based on my own visitor replay's research) they scroll and don't add to cart. But MOST of those people who add to cart, buy items from your store. Again, running abandoned carts recovery campaigns will help you so much! and I suggest (if you are working with shopify) use SMSBump as your SMScampaign and Klaviyo as your Email campaign.
