Thank you for making the time to make this series, I'm not even half way through and I've learned so much already. We appreciate you so much Zen! Not all heroes wear capes :')

WARPS 1. SYNC - analog style in which sub oscillations comes as we increase the knob bringing also high freq. most of the time , can be used to create movements using LFO. 2. Windowed SYNC - has a fade on the ends of wavetablez, makes sound smoother. 3. BEND - makes sound thin or inwards, good for creating movements, + for making sounds wide or subbier, can be used for creating movements. 4. PWM (post width modulation) - analog effect similar to sync, but works in a different way and used mostly on square wavetables 5. Flip - literally inverts the wavetable, transistion is not that smooth, can be used if something sounds cool. 6. Mirror - interesting for adding Dubstep bass movements. 7. REMAP - used to create custom wave tendencies, that changes the transition type of wave. 8.Quantize - same as distortion as it reduces quality of wavetable. Most heavily used FM FM -used for modulation of one oscillator according to another, traditionally used for sine wave by sine way and is the cleanest, as FM increase high freq. increase and low is lost so here SUB is important for getting lows back, change the octaves or semitones of B oscillator 9.AM - used for bell type of effects, tromolo effects can be done. 10. Ring modulation - multiplly the waves.

at 3:15 to 3:25, the camera skips a bunch of steps, the buzz from the B osc is gone and its very smooth, but it skips over how he made it like that, yet the knobs look the same, anybody know what he did?

The wave shaper's left is the y and x is the right and the pulse happens on the 0,0 1,1 axis. Or .. iduno.. vertical is a black hole (thin pulse) and a horizontal is a white hole (DC current). If you do a saw in it you essentially FM. Also, i bought the damn thing (serum) halfway through the tutor series.

Would you, or anyone else on this chat stream know how to do this?.. or know of any tutorials that show how to do these w serum?

All seriousness though, I have limited budget, which pack is better if I can only get one: festival revolution 1, Festival revolution 2, or main stage? Or a different one? I like sylenth, haven't used serum much, I like massive, and I like trap, bass style music with lots if supersaw. And I like using your midi tools for drops, and would like more lol
@johnrexpadillo11745 жыл бұрын
Better get festival revolution 2 and a licensed sylenth because the presets are good to go in FR2 like Blasterjaxx style or that supersaws, which is dope
