I have a question for EVERYBODY in this comment section? If you could have any show in the DCAU either picked up or just 100% created, what would it be? For me, I’d either want a show on the Flash in JL or one simply called Rogues: basically, they’re self contained episodes that delve deep into the origins of the villains of the DCAU. Sure, we had Two-Face in BTAS, but what about how he grew up and became a district attorney, and the end of that episode could be the start of when we first see him in BTAS. The end of season 1 *finally* shows us the origins of Hamill’s Joker, and season 2 starts with the Superman villains

Nah, different universes. But we’ve heard from one of the writers that the writing team often referenced DCAU continuity as a way to pretend to play in that sandbox.

I think you’ve taken the X designations too literally. I think they get assigned mission by mission. The same goes for who is recruited for which missions. Hypothetically Waller could have dozens of incarcerated recruits. She simply drafts who she needs for the mission. Some members may get more missions due to familiarity, reliability and versatility. It’s likely we as an audience only see the most relevant missions and clearly for a comics continuity it makes sense to show us a core group of characters to develop the continuity that builds an invested readership. There’s often a few new rotating characters and for all intents and purposes they are mostly red shirts. Can’t really build up the idea of how dangerous the missions are or how serious Amanda is about enforcing the brain bombs she had implanted in squad members without having us lose people along the way. So I think this could also explain clock Kings absence too. He has kind of a limited ability. Making a great coordinator, remote leader instead of a field leader. Another guy who’d easily fill that role would be Calculator.

Mostly agreed, but the bombs-in-the-neck thing was never established in the DCAU. It’s more implied they’re forced to participate or they’ll just be sent back to their normal sentences. And with the X’s thing, I would think changing the numbers per mission would get pretty confusing. “X-4, did you do the thing? ... X-4?” “Oh, sorry, that’s me this time isn’t it? I was X-2 last time.” “Wait, I thought I was X-4!” And then something explodes.

Watchtower Database not sure if you’ve ever watched a movie like the Dirty Dozen but oddly it’s not a terribly different plot. Military degenerates are recruited to participate in a suicide mission of sorts. Rag tag group of losers, crazies and of course a few earnest types we can root for. They go over the plan relentlessly. A similar scene is shown with clock king running them through the steps and where they need to be so the timing is flawless. I think you review it per mission you won’t forget your job and assigned designator . But seriously this is unlikely a job that they do daily Just as needed.

...I want to know which severely-underpaid intern at Mattel made the executive decision to give an action figure to the non-combative (at least in JLU) Clock King instead of Plastique, who actually gets to fight with the Squad on the show. If I had to hazard a guess I'd say that it was either the classic "our male demographic doesn't want to play as female characters" bullsh*t or them not knowing how to toyify her bomb-making abilities without making some stiff-lipped parents really mad.

He seems like a very random character to through in with those three, but I guess they just needed someone to fill in that last slot and he happened to fit with them nicely. Also, since I didn't answer the question earlier, I guess that it would've been cool to get a figure for the Post-Mutation General Eiling because as far as I know he only got a figure in his human form.

Power Rangers crossed over with the live action TMNT in the 90s. Those Turtles I think crossed over with the 2003 Turtles. 2003 Turtles crossed over with the CGI Turtles and THOSE Turtles crossed over with BTAS. So assuming they're in the same multiverse I say they joined in the 90s. Or if you want to make it simple The Red Hood Fan Series on youtube crossed over with some kid Power Rangers thing on youtube
