This is so helpful! I stopped reading in mid 2020 (because life happens) right after the Hostel arc and I didn't come back to it until like a week ago when I binge read the entire 170ish chapters I was behind in under a week... So most of the past 3 years worth of content is fresh in my mind obviously but anything earlier (aside from the early stuff covered in the Netflix series) is hard to remember.

It was, but around the 200 mark the author took an interest in martial arts, and the "lookism" part of the story was ran into the ground. What's funny is that even when Lookism transitioned into gang fighting, Tokyo revengers still hadn't existed yet as a manga, meaning Lookism did it first lol

Looks like you focused more on explaining the storyline than actually getting the dates correct. Daniel getting into J High should during 2000, since in the first love arc Logan posted a moment which was dated 2001, which was when Daniel became a 2nd year, also you should place the events in time order, such as Johan and Olly getting into Big deal was after the cult event

The only thing I dislike about lookism is the character design. I don’t think PTJ really thought out character design. I understand it’s a supernatural universe where people are freakishly strong, but I liked lookism because of the realism it had. For example: As of March 8. 2024, notice how Jake looks young as heck during gapryungs funeral (like how a preteen should look). Yet also notice the events that took place in cheonlang is three years before gapryungs death. Why does vin Jin 3 years ago look nothing like a middle schooler, but as well look older (then the then) pre teen Jake and Jake is older? If you’re confused, basically what I’m saying is. Compare Jake when he was at his dads funeral to vin Jin during the cheonlang arc. Vin Jin looks MUCH older, when Jake is about 2-3 years older than vin Jin. Outside of that- it’s the fact the characters age like HELL during 3 years.

Actually, Cheonliang happened after Gapryong's death. Gun stated that James already killed Gapryong (with the help of Gitae of course) when he fought Seongji.

Meaning he wasn’t even that strong, during the cheonlang arc? Therefore how would he even be able to assist gitae in taking down Gapryung if he wasn’t as strong? The timelines actually wrong. In one of the earlier epirsodes ( i think something with jiho being scammed idk tho) you can actually see, on a computer, that the time where jake park is in J high and is on the Jiho case is in 2001 (or 2 havenr red the chapter in a while)

Since in the cheoliang arc, Charles choi is older since he has white hair, rather than black like in the big deal flashback. In 492, all the Kings are perfectly fine and not amputated, and we know this takes place after the creation of the big four crews. Creation of the big four crews, then the first generation end

I have finally dropped this webtoon after 300 chapters . Everytime the plot was getting somewhere , the author does a whole ass backstory with repetative story beats and now, I don't know what's happening anymore. I get that each backstory and every plot point is important but he just expands endlessly upon them that I just don't care anymore😮‍💨 . It's a shame because Lookism was one of the very few webtoons that I enjoyed. 10/10 but dropped :')
