Can confirm this my friend refused to read Lookism for the longest time because he didn't like the tone, pacing or art the first few arcs did the only way I managed to get him to continue reading it was by showing him Viral Hit showing that PTJ has improved since the start of Lookism and promising if he still didn't like Lookism up until all the four major crews were introduced I would give him $400 for his commitment. He ended up reading the series more religiously than I did and thanked me for showing him it since he has been reading the series week to week since 2019 and is surprised how weirdly it evolved and is wondering how it will end since their are still tons of mysteries the series has left to uncover and some of them he wants to know aren't even about Daniel himself.
