You can even shoot faster after sliding if you press the weapon button right after sliding of whatever weapon you want to shoot with.

Hey, console player here. They recently released the limited beta for us and I really wanna get good with Neon…but, I see everyone on PC shooting while sliding with her but every time I slide, the gun pulls out and cocks, leaving me no room to shoot while sliding. Any reason why? Am I doing something wrong??

I looked into it there. My best guess is that it's bugged, so hopefully it gets changed like how it is on pc rn

Yeah I noticed that too and it's actually the reason I looked up this video. I at first assumed it was a console specific change because the devs thought slide shooting would be too broken against controller players but I hope it's just a bug.

I didn’t even know PC players were able to shoot during her slide until i saw her buffs recently. The patch said something about removing the movement penalty when shooting during the slide, which confused me since it forces the equip animation after your slide. I pretty much only use right before swinging so i have enough time to pull out my weapon

For people using scroll wheel jump, what are you changing your weapon cycle to?

For me I have weapon cycle on my scroll down so I scroll fully down to equip my primary, 3 for my knife and I use 4 for my pistol (I swapped spike equip to 2)

If you press the weapon bind quikly right after sliding you pull your gun out even faster and therfore you can shoot faster. It can have somthing to do with your ping also, but i am no expert so i don't know

What's your recommended sens for 1000 dpi? I've been using 3.14 but it feels like a lot and i think my aims suffering from it

0.32 to 0.24 anywhere in that range and you should be good

I had just played a game on console at lotus with her and since i just got her i wasnt all that good yet, but he asked me to make some noise at A for him while the team planted C. All i did was wall down A, ran around a bit then went through our spawn into B while being chased by their neon and some others, their iso caught me at B but we planted and won the round just bc of that fakeout
