I actually went back to rewatch the June 22, 1998 promo for myself and it is indeed really odd, but amazingly, the crowd is very, very into it. Seems like at that time, the Wolfpac just could do no wrong.

Re-watching their stuff really makes you think what's the point? Majority of the run is just them going out saying their catchphrases then leave, being picked apart by Bret or being outsmarted by Hogan, Steiner, Giant and their merry band of nWo jobbers. There was intrigue during the split off angle but then nothing of importance until late into the year with WW3 and Starcade and we all know what happens after

The only good thing that came out of it was the feud with DDP, and his wrestling career as a whole was pretty much done after that concluded at Halloween Havoc 1997, he was never the same after that.

Watching wcw as a kid was the epicentre of my friday night, Finishing school, getting home having tea, getting snacks, and getting ready for 9 pm Fridays. Sting was always my fav but Watching him join the wolf pack instead of black and white was was truly a memory i will never forget 😂😂
