6mm ARC is most likely going to be sunsetted. We just built the most reliable 22 ARC on the AR15 platform. It's almost done field testing now.. but 6mm is already probably done. 22 ARC, new hybrid round out there. Our barrel MFG is a hornady partner and perfected the chamber and has a beautiful rifling. Not a fan of adjustable stock on a coyote rig. Excited to be getting my 22 ARC Lilja barrel via Mike Johnson at Shooting Specialties Chinook MT. Built a 204 Ruger rig with a Lilja barrel mounted in Aero Gen 2 Enhanced upper myself and paired it with a JP full mass BCG.Spectacular performance. I had to thermal fit the barrel to the upper.

I just ordered the new CAT Noah 6mm to run on 6 ARC and 5.56. Sounds like it should be excellent for 22 ARC, as well. You should check it out and see how it compares to Huxwrx. Based on the performance of CAT's 30 cal cans, it should be noticeably quieter without adding pressure.

Good observation, but it's only part of the picture. Hornady's real innovation is actually pairing the cartridge with a chamber design that is efficient and has inherently good internal ballistics. weight and velocity over a certain grain of powder is only part of the picture

Not that much innovation they are just copy and pasting all these with a newer target bullet and a faster twist.

Are you having cycling issues? Was told cause of the problem is the adjustable gas block. I have same set up.

Wade, have you tried the PRI 6.8SPC mags with your 6mm or 22 ARCs??

Couple things, 1. Finally got around to watching the Amantine videos, I think we can slowly push you to the dark side and start liking thermal. 2. I always watch you talking about bipods but have you tried accutac? Made in america and I love them. 3. Wheres my 22 creedmoor book, take my money.

My 556 is pushing a 75gr pill at 2850fps from an 18" barrel. Not too far off of real world 22 ARC velocities.

WTF is a good BCG? I understand material, MPI, coatings etc. I understand what everything means and what build material and machine quality mean but F#DGE man. You read reviews and people give everything 5 stars and everything 2 stars. Just lost at this point. Clarity on BCGs would be sweet. And does a BCG wear into fitment with a upper? Like should they stay matched once they been run together for a long time. This post needs a copy write its so long. My bad.
