Jules will always be my favorite story to listen to, but I love Grover and Bouncer's brotherly bond in this one. It's hard facing the horde of undead on your own, it's even harder to face with a friend by your side. The fear of loss and being alone in a zombie apocalypse is why I worried a lot for our bikers boys, but I'm glad they got a good ending. I hope Bouncer learned well from Grover and lives for as long as he can out there.
@twowheeledgaming9 ай бұрын
I definitely think that's the underlying "message" or "theme" of this season. Grover's mentality shifted rather drastically once he hooked up with Bouncer since he now had something to lose besides his own life. That can rattle even the strongest willed individuals.

This is the best type of zombie show, imo. The way it's told in the 3rd person feels more engaging than the 1st person pov we usually get. To me, at least. It's like watching a documentary, almost.
@twowheeledgaming4 ай бұрын
The 3rd season was incredibly interesting in its presentation, since once Grover meets Bouncer, a lot of the emotion and actions are covered in dialogue instead of narration. It also pushes journals into the background, so you're pulled more into the dynamic of the two characters. The other seasons are much more focused on solo survivors and their struggles, which is a very different feel and ends up shifting how the story itself is presented and plays out.
@BoredBread9479 ай бұрын
Man, sure Grover didn’t last long but it’s most definitely my favorite character, to start him and bouncers chemistry was so good, not only that but he’s he reason I love this channel in the first place. I did mention this in one of the other poles but this man really made me enjoy your work. Though he didn’t last long he made the biggest impact for me
@twowheeledgaming9 ай бұрын
I do find it interesting that a lot of people pin Grover as "short", as his saga is practically the exact same length as Jamie's. Though his story does cover a far shorter period of time in-game, you probably get to "know" him more since he's constantly engaged in dialogue once he hooks up with Bouncer. Anyway, I'm always happy when my characters hit the right note, no matter how long they're around for. Grover was most definitely a fun perspective to play around with for awhile, and I'm happy to add him to the growing roster on the channel. :)

🔥 Devs should hire you to write a game mode called "Survivor Stories", where it's exactly like this. But for the game mode it's somewhat pre-determined with some story altering/end chanaging decisions and events. But you can play with an NPC or play with a friend for some of them. They could have a few solo stories, few duo, and a big group online story. All they would have to do is literally give you missions to progress each story until the end. That would be so fire and that alone would add so much content to this game without players having to make their own stories/goals EVERY play through. But Zomboid is faaaarrrrrr from anything like that. If they was smart they'd hire some more of these super talented modders imo. I know im ambitious lol Anyway very nice job story telling, voice acting, everything. Super entertaining and I look forward to more movies from you man🙏🏾
@twowheeledgaming9 ай бұрын
I most definitely appreciate the praise, and the recommendation. :P Indie Stone has been actively hiring modders for awhile now and it feels like they're more in touch with their community than most other developers. I don't know if they'll ever implement something like you suggested since I believe they value the "openness" of having the player dictate their story and navigating the world, but the great thing about this game is that it's always open to modders to add those in if there's a big enough desire for it. It's easy to overlook the great game we have at the moment with all the interesting stuff that might be down the road.

I'm glad the ending is as well received as it is. I worried quite a bit about it feeling jarring for viewers, but like most things as time went on, I felt better about it overall. When it comes to having other survivors in the series for the future, I'm a bit hesitant at the moment. Considering the length of the video I wasn't expecting Grover to get a happy ending but its good to see they did. I particularly loved the dynamic between Gills and Bouncer and how tense the checkpoint was, using meta events to tell the story was a really clever idea, and the constant gunshot events made it sound like the soldier was closing in on them, I was expecting someone to get shot and a gunfight but that tension never got released until the ending which was something I really enjoyed. Looking forward to the next one!

I could have certainly dragged on Grover's story for longer, but for multiple reasons I think this was the best way to end his particular story. I did fear that most people would react negatively to the soldier threat not being dealt with, but I do enjoy the realistic tilt to that beat where not everything gets wrapped up in a pretty little bow, especially in a scenario such as this one. Very glad you enjoyed the story, and I look forward to bringing even more for you to watch. :)

Been playing this in the background all day. What a nice way to gear up for whatever comes next! I'll miss Grover and Bouncer, obviously, but maybe we'll see them again someday. And, after all, this was a really great sendoff. Goals completed, closure achieved, and contentment with the road that lies ahead. You really can't ask for more than that! As for the remaining unanswered questions, I think of them as ongoing story threads. They're not missed or abandoned opportunities -- they're the door remaining open. Perhaps we'll come knocking eventually; perhaps not. But I can't wait to see which it is, either way! To Grover, Bouncer, and our unknown sniper, I say: until we meet again!

That's awesome to hear! This game is truly something else, and I'm delighted to know I've got one more person to give it a go. :)

PZ sure sets its self up for a TWD Group-Play :) I can only imagine it's happened on Private Servers :)

I was hesitant to watch a 4 hour video but I’m so glad I stuck around for Gill’s story. You are a talented story teller! Now I have to go watch your other work.

Yeah, I can imagine being tentative about my story's lengths, but they really are just the culminations of the character's journey and where they end up. Season Two is a mountain to tackle, but most people mark it down as their favorite one once they get through it.

i thought this was awesome man. i love pz and the stories it creates shame none of my boys play it. could see us being like bouncer and gills 😂 you did a great job man compelling story💯

Thanks, my man. PZ can be a great time with friends, but I do always find myself leaning back towards single player when I really want to enjoy the game.

Another fantasic video, the intro was so good! Seeing from his perspective the beginning lore of the game was very well choreographed. Story and narration, again, was impeccable. Looking forward to your next stories!

Naw, thank YOU, my man. Everyone who enjoys the videos, whether they watch every week or stop by once a month or so, is what makes the channel and the stories what they are. You all are what I do this for. :)

Enthralling and beautiful. The ending was bittersweet and just about perfect. You have a true gift for storytelling, TWG.

Wonderfully written and beautifully executed piece of art, only qualm I have about it is the repeating phrase of “I’m old and hurting” I found myself saying “yeah we get you’re old and hurting” a few times throughout the watch but loved it!!!!

I love binging your content! I wish there was a way i could support you more because i just cant watch your stories week to week. Its a shame that this one is only 4 hours instead of 9 but ill still enjoy it the same. Cant wait until the next story! Ill edit in my reaction once i finish this over the next few days.

Hey, however you like to consume the content is fine by me. I'm just happy people are interested in the strange projects I cook up. :) Hope you enjoy it!

This is art, if art is defined as a work that illicit emotion, then the emotions I have felt watching through this videos puts it at a higher tier than most of what passes for art in modern mass media. Two Wheels, you are an artist and a creator of a very high caliber.
