Never ceases to astound me. Paul Chambers was my all time favorite!

I was just a wee lad in my diapers when this was recorded. So glad I discovered jazz when I did, in my teens. This bebop style is synonymous with jazz, IMO. Amazing!

Chambers' album 1st BASSMAN released in may of the following year with Yusuf Lateef is amazing also.

Try Benny Golson's lp THE TURNING POINT FROM '62, also with Chambers, Kelly and Cobb. A great neglected record.

Very boring, only patterns and Klischees, tempos too fasr. This was a blind street for jazz, completed by Coltrane😢

This is not a creative kind of Jazz. It is a express run without nuances boum boum boum...

Listen - any band with a line up like this is more than a "creative kind of Jazz"!
