For the full experience, reduce quality to 144p. Makes it look like you're watching the video on Windows 95!

Voice commanding your computer was an interesting experiment, and it led to Apple's Siri & Amazon Alexa, but today we arrived at the conclusion that the best way to interact with a computer without a keyboard is to touch it with your finger, like we do with our tablets & smartphones. If you still need a keyboard, there is one available for most modern tablets.

I know. You think the presenter would have adjusted the graphics resolution/quality to be *smooth* to really make the demo look good!

We are *extremely* spoiled today, with many services that can provide voice guidance in the car. But...we had to start somewhere.

Voice stuff is really useful but keyboards will almost always be better and with voice there is always the chance it doesn't understand you or it doesn't recognize a particular language, then you have to go back to a keyboard.

And voice is much slower. Funny how back then we thought tech would enable us to go out of our way and change how things are done Completely, but even with great voice recognition around, nearly everyone uses keyboards 100% of the time 95% of the time

There isn't a better way; keyboards are the only way to be sure that the computer is putting in the right spelling. For now.
