Maine Congressman Charlie Winship has had a bad day. After being caught on video failing to stand and recite the pledge of allegiance, he knocks out another House member, confronts his angry ex-wife, and faces denunciation by the media for attacking one of the most cherished patriotic symbols in America. As his life spirals out of control, Charlie embarks on a journey to a remote island in the Atlantic whose eccentric inhabitants are in the middle of a shooting war over their fishing grounds. Treat Williams stars as The Congressman in this humorous and moving film that raises the important question of what it means to be an American.

Awesome and timely Movie. Pledge of Allegiance being recited caught me by surprise. November 2022. I root for the new and younger Politicians finding the good fight amongst the “Sharks in the Tank”…. Imagine being a Salmon bravely swimming against and up the stream. With a purpose and mission so powerful never realizing it is practically impossible yet you keep going…..

Looks like a tribute to Treat Williams. I didn’t see him in that age.. he looked quite old.. why on earth he still rode a motorcycle? A man in his age should take it easy and if opting for an adventure.. take a hike somewhere in another country.. feed your interests not ride a motorcycle in streets. Dangerous.
