The Conners- Dan's Father Dies

What bothers me is in season 6 of the original Roseanne. Dan and Ed made peace with each other. After it was revealed that Dan's mom had mental health conditions before she and Ed got married. They chose to make Ed a villain again. He was not a deadbeat. But a traveling salesman. Dan always blamed his dad for things that were never his fault.

They made many mistakes of how they handled old Roseanne characters in The Conners.

Two people can make peace with each other and still have a falling out. Ed and Dan probably made peace with Ed leaving Dan's mom, but I know I wouldn't let that excuse Ed keeping his other family from mine, and apparently, neither did Dan.

Just because Dan and Ed made peace regarding Ed been away so much because of his job and Dan learning the truth about his mother doesn't mean they couldn't have had another falling out over something.Maybe Dan learned another secret Ed was keeping.For example maybe Ed cheated on Dan's mother

this is another story tht got twited with the reboot. dan made peace with his father in the original. it was brought out that ed wasnt really a deadbeat he was trying to protect dan from knowing his mom had serious mental problems. its just really sad how they changed things

I found out of my own father's passing the exact same way. Read his obituary in the local newspaper. Ironic
