Can you believe that the day is FINALLY here? We're officially kicking things off with the container home again. I'm sure you could tell from the video but we're pretty excited for everything that's to come...plus, having help with this process and learning from Dumpy is making it so fun. By the way, he told us he reads the comments so make sure ya'll give him lots of love and words of encouragement so so he's even more comfortable on camera in the next episode! I am probably your eldest follower. Get your air sickness bags ready. I am 72 years old and have been fallowing you since you started your dome home. You are such a great couple and to change your rentals from Air B and B's into permanent rentals demonstrates how much you care for people during this housing shortage. So good to see Charlie doing so well... Your "boys" are so cute and they have wonderful lives with you. Anyway, I'm glad that the engineers have found a solution to the stairwell. This container building has had many ups and downs, but you do roll with the punches. To me you are young boys who have worked so hard during college and as young business men. You both work so very hard on projects and refuse to give up until you're finished. Your differences complement each other! I look forward to watching your weekly programs and am somewhat lost when you take a much needed vacation. Please enjoy the ride and the deeper your love continues to grow. You're both very sweet young men!

The recharge was NEEDED. You guys look ready to tackle the land again. In the autumn, you looked so defeated. And that is gone. Great to see! Pivotting is part of life, and if the land gets too much again, or winter is coming and the construction is delayed (gawd forbid), you have the relaxation of the lake to recharge.

EXACTLY!! We absolutely love the dome but make no mistake, it's 1 room without a bathroom or shower. The fact we lived in there for years still shocks me! It's a wonderful spot during this time of year for a night or two during the winter but NO thanks!

I lost the love of my life in what will be 12 yrs this coming Sept 16th at 7PM. It's been hard carrying on without that voice and love and support beside me. I still cry dry tears about it. Wet tears have been exhausted. I have zero desire to try and find a replacement. It just would not work and it would make me even more miserable.

OMG I know I am late but I have to say, thank the universe we have made it to AG1 season. AG1 season means amazing work/magic is about to happen. Especially after a good rest. Got a HUGE tip for you guys... if you don't own one, buy yourself an electric rechageable blower to use for small cleanups on decks, and even for cleaning sawdust and stuff from inside the structure... since there is not exhaust involved, it makes it so easy to to just keep one of these in your "broom closet" and whip it out to keep your decks clean. No exhaust in your face, you can keep it handy inside the house, they work so well! I even use it to dust the stone wall in my foyer. Just open the front and back door, put an exhaust fan in the back door, and I blow all the dust off that wall.

Love the gentleman who is helping with your home. He reminds me of my Dad , the maman he hired to build the 2 story garage that was supposed to house my Dad's huge computer system that never made it inside because when I moved home after living with my brother and his wife and was the Nanny for my nephew during the day and I took university classes at night towards my degree in early childhood education and computer technology. I was also taking classes that I needed before concentrating on my core classes so I took physics and my first real art classes which I loved. If I hadn't become a teacher I would have loved studying Geology or physics and even meteorology. Anywho once I moved home I needed a bedroom and Dad decided that I could have it over the garage and basically the builder kept making it larger which was fine for me even though I didn't need that much space. I got to pick out the paint color, flooring in the bathroom and how the 6 foot walk in closet was set-up. I had plenty of room to setup my sewing machine and crafting space with room to spare. I added a lounge area to include my stereo system. When I had friends over.( My parents had sold our childhood home and had moved 7 hours away to the mountains in southern Virginia and the house only had 3 bedrooms which was why I moved in with my brother and sister in law because they didn't know how to take care of a baby like I did after 8+ years of caring for babies newborn to age 16 years old.) and a sweet neighbor who lived a cross the street from my husband and I when we bought our first home.

The construction company was at fault with the corners of the container home. They are construction workers, they do this for a living! They should have known of any issues as they continued putting it together. That was nice of you to say it was a lack of communication but they should have known.

Always enjoy GOOD News ... and that camera looks expensive so I can guess how happy you are to have re-discovered it. I have reached "that age" where I tend to forget where I put something unless I make sure to put it exactly where it always was. If I just put it down somewhere because I've been distracted by a phone call or the doorbell ringing ... then sometimes it is days before I "find" it ... and I usually find it because I am looking for yet another thing I've misplaced! The "joy" of aging!!!

The Deck looks Great and so does the railing ..Bravo..take it one baby step at a time..I also love to deal with people like Dumpy that knows his stuff, is calm and emotionally stable..its fun to build in that way...
