Facts about the dunk meter. I an a rim running pg that loves to dunk on 7 footers. In 25 they will give me a bullshit animation an I do a layup. Or when I do get the meter I don’t know when to let it go cuz the meter is Ass. 2k can’t keep gettin away with these Trash ass games

@@InfamousText majority of the ppl I play against it’s not an issue, but the bigs that really know how to cheese that 90 standing dunk I feel like it’s the craziest guessing game bc hands up defense doesn’t work well enough. They will get a standing dunk animation as if I’m not there at all. A guy did one the other day where I was on his hip and his back was to the basket. He rose up and did a dunk w/ his back to the basket like I wasn’t on his hip at all

The contest system it’s not perfect when it comes to layups that’s a easy adjustment on 2K part and on the perimeter it’s just like the NBA when it comes to contesting a shots. Perfect timing will beat a contest all day except if you’re smothered.

There is no great defender who don’t get scored on you think just because you got some fake 99 perimeter defense and some legend challenge badge you should be stopping people from shooting that’s not real bro. @@InfamousText that’s a 2K thing trying to find a balance nothing‘s going to be perfect The game is designed to register a person in front you regardless if it’s hands up or not. if someone’s in your shooting space close, it may say tight, light or smother even if your hands are not up it’s their detection system
