@@PeaceNinja007 If there was a person or persons who existed during the time that fits the description, I would analogize him to the person who points to the moon and the other person who looks at the pointing finger instead of the moon. First you have to consider the fact that the modern KJV bible we all have today is littered with mistranslations, misconceptions, plus no original NT copies, and that some books have been excluded from the canon by so called authorities of the catholic church. My point is that we have deeply misunderstood and misconstrued the true messages in the biblical text as humans are known to do. My guess based on researching ancient languages and manuscripts, the true message of Jesus or Yeshua(whatever you wish to call him) is for all of us to recognize the divinity in ourselves. No exterior source is coming to save us because we have nothing to be saved from. You are not born wicked and a sinner, you are born beautiful and perfect. It's up to us to grow up and stop fighting and killing each other, to love one another unconditionally. The true message was simply love. Men have distorted this message throughout the ages. That's why we're constantly told we have to worship, get on our knees and pray to something that we're not even sure really exists or not. Just a way for one group to control another. Business as usual as they say. You don't have to believe or worship anything, just love yourself and others unconditionally. From there, the world gets supremely better because every action you take will be out of love.

Mauro and Paul are quite correct and understandably so considering their lifes work with languages and interpretation. As a casual scholar of the Bible twenty years ago, I got fed up with the mistranslation. Languages evolve, for example, Hebrew and Greek have an earlier form and a 'modern' form. With some languages if something bad happens at a place the people change its name. In some cultures a persons name is forbidden to be spoken when they pass. Perhaps it's a hallmark of human capacity for adaptation? Thank you Mauro and Paul for your essential work that our world has most certainly needed for so long. I like these discussions as it opens up these meanings to us. Thank you both. Elohim as I understand it is a masculine plural of a feminine noun. This for me is a word used to discuss the actions of Different Attributes of the Divine. In Kabbalah the top world, God's Names are given to the Sephiroth, both masculine and Feminine as well as Androgynous or middle pillar. I understand at this time that this is a meaning we could use. As this fits with the different creations in Genesis. Of course there are some things that words can only be used as a guide to enable your inner Self to connect to these Energies. Thank you for your comment. While I realise that is not directly the conversation, the implications of what each theorise remains the same. Michael Heiser believed these beings to be demonic. Where as Mauro and Paul allude to the Alien theory. So while I appreciate what you are saying, the larger context of the differences of opinion do relate to what the thumbnail says. Michael's documentary is literally called "aliens & demons" which is what prompted the thumbnail design . For Example Michael believes that E.T contact is demonic. Where as Paul & Mauro argue that E.T contact could be the very thing mentioned in the bible. For example the sky council and the Elohim themselves. And this is more to the point of the original question . Tudorhim, who asked the question, wants to know on a larger picture who is correct in this. Michael - who believes that E.t's are demonic, or Paul & Mauro who believe that the Elohim themselves could be E.T's . Thus the thumbnail "Aliens or Demons" as the interpretation of this, and verses such as Psalm 82, can dictate the belief in one theory or the other. This is the only content we have that compares Michael, Paul and Mauro's interpretation. SO while I appreciate you feelings on this, I still feel that the over all message of these key verse translations is relevant to what side of the fence you sit on in relation to the bigger picture. Not exactly. The difference is that Hebrew, unlike English, has singular and plural verb forms for all tenses. Starting from the first words of Genesis we read that "elohim made[singular verb] the heavens and the earth". The Bible also frequently repeats that none of other peoples' elohim actually exists, they are just inanimate, man-made idols. For example Deuteronomy 4:28,39 says "There you will serve elohim of wood and stone, the work of human hands, that neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that YHWH is elohim in heaven above and on the earth beneath, and there is no other".
