In this episode of Fameish, we’re reintroduced to Patricia Krentcil, aka ‘Tan Mom’. Patricia became a viral phenomenon in 2012 after being falsely accused of bringing her five-year-old daughter into a tanning salon. The media attention and public scrutiny that ensued was as incessant as it was vicious. Now, she’s attempting to start a fresh chapter in the spotlight - by running for US Senate in the state of Florida. We follow her campaign trail and find out what life has been like since being branded ‘Tan Mom’.

How old is she cause I have a 17 yr old son, I am 38 myself (had him when I was very young) and NEVER EVER used a tanning booth or nothing, even avoid the sun. If I want a slight tan I use good tanning foam and a glove or get a spray tan. Always also used sunscreen since I was like 14 yrs and take my skincare routine well very seriously 😂 Are you telling me since me and Tan Mom have a children around the same age that she might be close to me in age 😳 Sorry, but she looks about 75+ and not a good 75+.....her skin is terrible and it's like leather 😲 Anyway, greetings from me in Iceland ☆☆

She is the reason why I've avoided being directly in the sun, ALWAYS used sunscreen since I was teenager and taking EXTRA good care of my skin and my holy routine there mornings and nights !!!! And NEVER been to tanning saloons even! I live in Iceland and the sun is strong here,when it comes and all kinds of weather here all year around!! That's ecpecially why I take this good care of my skin and that's a big part of my self-care, at least and always have been and I'm getting closer and closer to the big 40 but I think my skin looks great, no sun spots, no melanoma, no wrinkles, just my regular freckles still and my derma and cosmetologists (I am one myself) well don't fix it if it aint broken, might just add that😃 That's why I PREACH self-care, and in that is very good skincare, for my fellow sisters everywhere 🙏🏼 And men out there, take note cause skincare is also very important for you all as well 😎 Have a nice evening ☆☆

I actually interacted with Patricia and know people that know her well. She was a victim of a horrible assault early on in her life that caused a brain injury. Despite that Patricia is so nice and I’m told she’s a great cook. I do think people make fun of her and she maybe doesn’t notice it because of her brain injury. I wondered if that was the case. Personally, it seems like benzos like shes prescribed anxiety meds after kicking alcohol and maybe pops an extra one. Just from my experience. Important to note though, i read somewhere in the comments that early in life she suffered a traumatic brain injury during an assault so...that may be an explanation for...a LOT of this.

She should try tanning once or twice a week and do LED Red light therapy the other 5 or 6 days. LED Red light stand up units are available at my gym in with the tanning beds and there’s even a hybrid stand up that does both at once. Red light therapy warms your body like tanning and gives you the same energy as a tanning does for your mind but is actually safer and has beneficial health effects as well. They say it helps with lessening the appearance of scars, stretch marks, acne scars, helps your mood (that one I can vouch for) and other things. Maybe try that? Not trying to tell her that’s a better option but I think it’s not unreasonable to do red light therapy 5 days and hybrid tan or tan 2 days. That’s my opinion, keeping in mind that I think Opinions are like butts. Everybody has one and some stink. 😅

Some mothers drink a bottle or 2 of wine a night, some mothers smoke cigarettes, she tans. Its not good for you, she know exactly the damage tanning does. Tbh i think shes got her head on much better and i hope she has fun with music
