Start watching at around 20:30, look at the blood, the particles, all the movement in general; 4. By the way jack Blaidd is stuck in the Hound Evergaol in Stormhill, but releasing him will force you to kill him later, as he is the puppet of the two fingers given to ranni as a servant. Yet since the stars are no longer held by Radahn and Rannis fate is back in motion, the two fingers make him turn against Ranni. As Blacksmith Iji states, his will has no word on the matter.

I love the lore in this game because you have to get dissolved into the relm of the world to know it. Hearing Sean talk about it made me think of a game idea with this sortta story. You wake up character remembers nothing. Note says go to a library in a nearby town the headmaster scribe will help you understand, and your head is a big weak spot never go without a helmet or mask. The old scribe will tell you about the note writer being a man so evil and foul and monstrous that the whole known world has shunned him and fear him. you go on a quest to find many more notes learning about the man and what he dose and how he explains himself. you meet some heros on the way and even get a rival friend and eventually you get to the Notorious note mans home. In his great hall you expect to find him but you find only a note on the throne "If you are reading this, forgetful hero, sit and wait and answers will come. I am not here now so feel free to pillage and loot my store rooms and armories." You can do puzzles and mini quests in the Noter's house to find over powered weaponry and armor, an armor set without a helmet. If people paid any attention to the wake up sequence at the start theyd notice a helmet not part of the first set of armor that matches this new one. If you collect this gear and sit on the throne to wait it will say days passes and then the hero you had a friendly rivalry with will burst in and start attacking you immediately. After you kill him blood will fill a little bowl in the floor and a mirror and a painting will appear on the wall and you look in it, take a helmet off and realize your face is the same on the painting. a note in the corner of the mirror says "I wanted a new life, but clearly losing my memory did not change how awful of a man i am if you are reading this." of course you could always chose not to put on a helmet ever and show your face causing you to find out earlier your the antagonist or you could chose to eep your armor on and a helmet on and the hero will come in and ask if you killed the antagonist already, where you can say yes or he said to wait here for him but never came.

40:00 also another couple of interesting facts about the albinaurics is that they are man-made creatures and have 2 different ‘versions’ the first being the one seen at the timestamp, and in the village of the albinaurics as well. They tend to have weak legs which is why they are mostly seen being immobile and frail. The second version, and enhanced, are the fish dudes you see in liurnia of the lakes. These are much more flexible and do cartwheels during combat as well. It’s not quite clear who specifically created them, only that Gideon caused the village to become the way that it is, a ghost town.

Using cured meats and stuff don’t get rid of it once you already have it, either, they just raise various immunities so that it takes longer to get it. In my experience, the cured meats and stuff aren’t really worth it. It’s better to use incants to get rid of it.

I think the most appreciative thing in Jack's playthroughs is the ability to convey the experience and the feel of a game to an audience, in such a respectful way for the artistry of making a game/experience might I add, even in this case of a game he already played (multiple times). Pro tip for boss fights: I use Skeletal Militiamen to reduce aggro + when they die they come back (so long as boss doesn’t attack their re-healing bodies) keeping the aggro going

The trick with Rykard is you stay as close as possible to him, lava doesn't do much damage and it's much much easier to dodge his attacks
