Antarc death really impact phos and I feel like their bond is really really genuine. Antarc didn't see phos as a burden or troublemaker. well it's been years since I read the manga.

i’m really suffering through this hiatus. i think all the gems are really not who they were anymore, except antarc, which is awesome. i hope they do something to help phos. and i also hope phos refuses any attempt at making them pray bc honestly no one deserves more help from phos

Firstly I love your videos, it helps me to cope with the existential horror that the manga gave me ; + I watched the anime first with my best friend completely in blind, never seen this anywhere…. I cried like crazy when Ant was gone?.. I read other comments where other people too couldn’t stop crying at the bathtub scene… Ant doesn’t have a lot of time in the anime nor manga, yet it left such a big impression on me… knowing what know in the manga, it is all so sad yet a beautiful sad that I hadn’t felt since I read the Shingeki manga.

Yeah Antarc is a crystallized gem. The temperature dropped enough for their liquid state to turn into a solid state within the tub. The water probably acts as a way to keep the inclusions in one location.
