I think the only reason it's discouraged is because if everyone starts doing it there would probably be a decrease in quality of RP, but ya it should still happen to a certain degree. It does bring in some more realism, which is always good as long as it isn't a direct obstruction to content

I think the main problem with his rp is the fact that he takes his character way too seriously, there isn't a distinct line between him and jean paul, which in term ends in him taking things seriously, going ooc a lot and malding all the time, if his character wasn't based so much on himself there would be no problem and people would be able to tell when he is rping and when he isn't
