I wouldn't say he played "amazingly" if what he did is considered amazing then the bar for amazing on this game is really low. He, for the most part, held Shift+W and comp dropped pallets. There wasn't a ton of skill to be found there. Was it the correct play? Yeah. Was it difficult or required a high degree of skill? No. This is the issue with low mobility killers like Bubba and why he isn't a top tier killer. You can hold Shift+W and comp drop pallets and if your teammates are doing gens you win.

@@atrozzorta9602 I think they're referring to how he played amazingly well around bamboozle, timing each iteration of it to near perfection, while also playing around an insta down power, and going to the right pallets at the right times. Sure, otz didn't exactly give the craziest mind games - thought that isn't to say he was mindlessly following, because he definitely threw in a few 50/50s - to play against but it is also eyrie of crows which is notoriously bad for a chainsaw hitbox which seriously diminishes the power of his chainsaw without double speed which I don't think otz had, but the point remains adam played near perfect against the given set of perks + killer + map + rng layout. 360s are cool but don't really equal skill in this game at the top level bruh.

@@atrozzorta9602 And you're entirely wrong about it not requiring a high degree of skill btw, I almost forgot because he pulled them off back to back quite nonchalantly but adam forced an m1 at a god window (not difficult but definitely falls under the realm of high skill due to requiring the knowledge + plus knowing the timing) and then shortly after forced the vacuum into the breakable wall which needs pretty good positioning and timing also.

The pallet picking itself up when breaking has to be spaghetti code from the update to scout. Scouts in 2v8 see downed pallets, and when broken they see the ghost of the unused pallet since they can repair it, so what you're seeing is literally what scout sees in 2v8

The 4th person giving up cost you the game, and even if you and your teammates played really well, there was nothing you could do about it. And come on, even the tutorial outright tells you it's a bad idea to try to self-unhook, and the skillchecks are very easy to get until you get near the end of the timer, this is an insult to new players. The only good reason to let yourself die is for someone to get the hatch. Either penalize people who do it all the time or outright remove the option.

I think a good rework for monstrous shrine would be: Scourge hook: Monstrous Shrine - While 2 survivors are on death hook (2 hooks) hooking a new survivor will immediately put them into second stage. (Disables when 1 survivor is dead). This would incentivize not tunneling and would be a pretty good perk too in my opinion, maybe a little too good (I'm not sure) ^^
