I used to think this was parody, but recently I started to notice that *every* meeting I had at work people would say they understood the decisions we made and that we were all on the same page, but when talking to people outside of the meeting *everyone* had a different interpretation of the decisions we made. I work with a lot of smart people too, but communication is a lot harder than people think. I don't know how we function as a society, to be honest.
@VolatileRedАй бұрын
IMO we don’t function as a society it at all. Our “society” is a bunch of individuals each only interested in themselves, and what affects them. It’s more like a multiverse of abnormal, unhealthy, antisocial control freaks without the ability to listen or comprehend to anything but themselves. But don’t take my word for it, read the news, or open up social media. What I want to know is: were humans always like this and if so, how did we survive? I feel like people are mostly themselves online and in videos games, and one step into Rust, DayZ or GTA will show you anything you want to know about how ‘society’ is functioning. Maybe I’m jaded?

Doesn't need to be artistic. The kind of managers who studied business destroy plenty of products and companies far outside anthing about art or entertainment.

The thing is. If they are promoted up they are normally somewhat ok, as long as nothing in the industry has changed from 10 years ago. The big problems come when a venture capitalist buys the company and has no idea about anything about the product other than it can make money.

I love hearing about indie game success stories! For a small group to make it big because of their unique ideas is really inspiring!!! I can only imagine how thrilled the team that worked on Among Us was when their game took off after being out for a couple of years, or how exciting it was when Minecraft when Minecraft gained traction so quickly and led to the development of Mojang! I hope people remain inspired and excited to bring out new ideas in the gaming community. There are some super awesome Indie games out there!

@MichaelPohoreski Those are really great mentions!!! As soon as I finished typing this, I opened up Balatro, another wildly popular Indie game hahahaha 😆 I used to play a lot of Triple A games and stuck to big titles until recently. @@AlsomeCode # Factory Building Dyson Sphere Program Factorio Satisfactory
@@MichaelPohoreski I had to look up these games and WOW I really loved the design of Melvor Idle! The artwork is really charming and it's really cool that it took inspiration from RuneScape! I tried looking up Hero Clicker, but kept getting results for Clicker Heroes which was still a really neat looking game with some fun designs! One of my friends is actually obsessed with Factorio and loves to tell me all about a bunch of different playthroughs they've had on the hardest difficulty with their engineering friends! It sounds pretty complicated, but I bet it's really satisfying getting a huge material farm up and running once you've gotten the hang of it! 😆 Cookie Clicker looks a lot like a game I had tried making when I made an attempt at learning how to code games myself! I really just made a low quality pixel art coin that you would click to make a counter go up hahaha Cookie Clicker looks like it has a lot more fun elements in it! That's so awesome it took off like it did!!! 🤩
