The guitarist solo at the end, Love it! Rock, alternative and blues all mixed into one on this track.

The best band since the Beatles by a country mile. There's nobody who can touch them live and their songs are so lelodic and well crafted it's impossible to match them. Even Noel Gallagher said they're genius.

They did very well for a retro band that plays 60s music in the 2000s. The fact is that they had one no. 1 album, 7 top 10 albums, and 12 top 40 albums and three top 10 singles. They played to 80 thousand crowds at festivals and got their name out there. Sadly, we live in a dance era that promotes a night out dancing taking drugs so that's the music of the people there. Guitar music was dying and dance was taking over and now we're left the the utter dross that we hear today which can only be described as mouldy cheese. In order to get up the charts you need luck, good marketing and good songs. And the Coral were dropped at some stage because their singles weren't selling as well anymore. Put the Sun back one of their worst singles for me got into the 64th position in the charts whereas Jaqueline got to no. 44 so Roots and Echo's was their downfall. A brilliant album for me but the choice of singles proved a mistake. Fire Flies would have been the hit of the summer for me, In the Rain was a stomper and Who's Gonna Find Me got to no. 25 a good single and decent chart position. Rebeca You is a world class song along with Cobwebs and Music at night. They could have easily put out five top singles and made the album a hit but the singles they put out weren't good enough for me. The Invisible Invasion album was brilliant too but they only released two singles as far as I know and only one of them did well. and that being "in the morning." Something inside of Me kind of flopped even though it was a very good song. I think guitar music was on the way out for some reason, the top radio stations were opting more for dance and soul music. They really push black music in england because they love to promote multiculturism so a lot of the indie bands stay small.

excellent comentary men, the best thanks for this reply is sad to see everyday the guitar music bands are dying behind the dance club scene, and we cant do much against it. @@todareistodomyfoot8403

+Starry&Bohemian nope, I'm still smocking here and then but the visuals are not that cool today... Haven't tried 'em with acid though
@BohemianConspiracy8 жыл бұрын
Maximiliano Leon I don't think i will try acid... since i've made a serious bad trip on shrooms 15 years ago... i've taken 3x the normal dose in an evening (because after one hour and then two hours i had no result at all). I think those psychedelic "heavy drugs" are rather safe as long as you start with a little dose for a 1st time...

Brilliant slab of psychedelic rock why aren't floyd fans all over this?. Because if I'm honest Pink Floyd haven't been this good since the mid 70s.

great track! does anyone else hear Queens of the stone age influence on this one or it's just me?
@NickSBailey7 жыл бұрын
I think rather than The Coral being influenced by QOTSA they just share some 60s/70s influences. It's that psychedelic guitar drone sound.
