Well it shows you have had little experience with police. They don't ask "hey did you rob this store?" They get a clip from cctv an hour before the robbery and ask is this you? It may not even have been you but saying yes confirms to them that you're confessing to a robbery. So there is always a distrust with questions. Usually they're asked to incriminate you. The only logical thing to do is not answer any question, even one about what school you went to maybe asked to prove you were around proven gang members.

I would not be shocked if Thug actually did some or all of the things he's been accused of doing, BUT to use mostly rap lyrics and "testimonies" from unreliable witnesses and then resorting to intimidation and strong arm tactics to move things in your favor isn't the way to do it. It's a waste of time, money and resources. It also makes the judicial system look even worse than it already is. If you're gonna throw RICO charges at someone, you better make sure you have better and more concrete evidence than that. The judge who chewed the prosecutor out was right. It's totally unprofessional to just wing it and string along narratives (for over a year at that!). What a joke.
@squillz8310Ай бұрын
I 100% agree. I believe that song lyrics (not just rap) can be used as evidence in a crime, but *ONLY* as supporting circumstantial evidence. Like, if there's other direct evidence that almost undoubtedly proves them guilty, then the lyrics can be used too. But like you said, Using the music as the MAIN evidence, and then having really shaky eye-witness testimony, sets a terrible precedent. I'm glad the prosecution lost this case so badly
@southernladyishАй бұрын
Fani is absolutely getting exposed now for all of her BS!! This was absolutely pathetic on her part and she should completely be removed from any positions of authority. I’m not sure if prosecutors can get sanctioned or not but if so, she deserves the max! This ridiculous case is not the only injustice created by this woman either.

For many fans too, it was crazy to hear him actually rap in a somewhat normal voice and while you highlighted the track, I definitely think it's not that well known. Also, while Thug was hugely influential, I think Lil'B was as formative to his come up and acceptance, and both rappers were big fans of Lil Wayne for being weird.

This literally shows the exact opposite. His persona is what made him attractive to music execs, which led into him making tons of money, of which he used to pedal his criminal lifestyle and when the state tried to arrest him, he used his money and connections to beat the charges. Had he not been ‘Young Thug’, he would’ve been arrested and forgotten about a long time ago. Ik it sucks but the truth is, a violent ignorant gangster type lifestyle is exactly what the industry is looking for.
