After years of #MeToo propaganda, judicial misconduct, a corrupt judge and prosecutor, contradictory testimony, and even FALSE testimony... Cosby walks free.
And yes. If you're checking the scorecard?
That means I was right.

Seriously. Too many people are quick to condemn people , solely based on being accused. Evidence be damned. Of course, this strictly applies to those who don’t agree with you & your political or world view. Even though it’s hard, you have to stand for true justice, even if it means someone gets acquitted. If they have to break the law to convict, there’s no limiting principle as to who gets treated like that & who doesn’t. Like you said, maybe one day it’s you facing a trial..

@@wrongway1100 A better comparison would be the resurrection of Jesus. Something like five people claim to have seen Jesus alive after his execution. This so called resurrection was not recorded in writing until decades later. Therefore we know the resurrection of Jesus to be 100% true. Only an immoral person would claim that it is possible for a small group of people to lie and there is no peer pressure in the Christian community attached to going along with this belief. Well, candidates for DA do it all the time. Especially if the situation in question is on all the headlines. A candidate for DA may not say necessarily that he intends to arrest Mr. Capone, especially if he values his life and the lives of his family, but he might say that all the while taking campaign donations from said Mr. Capone. Off the books, of course (well, not entirely). Judge candidates sometimes do that. I find that especially funny, if you know anything about a certain Judge Roy Bean.

The quartering, I watched, admitted he knows nothing of the details. And he bases the guilt on the quantity of allegations not the fact that individually the quality of accusations is lacking (seemingly more often than not). He asks why would they lie, when he should ask what is their risk if lying. One example I sight to debunk the 'it was an open secret' narrative, if it were then going around him implies consent does it not, unless you are removing all agency from the participants. And another point that has netted head nods, Raven Simone had his back for awhile until she didn't... Then almost miraculously, when she turned on him, she started getting reoccurring spots on The View, Disney gave her a sequel series. Seems like a pay off, doesn't it? And I put something similar on the Quartering's video, mentioning that the evidence was mostly decades old hearsay, have yet to get a response.

I'm thrilled Bill has finally been released. This was a railroad job, no credible evidence, and a political hit. The only thing this man was guilty of was infidelity. Sadly, his reputation will probably never recover. I hope he can find peace and enjoy the rest of his life. Shame on the people who did this to him.

@@firstnamelastname-oy7escontext matters of course, but settling is not inherently an indication of guilt. It mkst certainly can be, but there are perfectly understandable reasons why an innocent man would do such a thing, even if it is misguided. An innocent man ettling out of court is like someone paying off a blackmailer or an extortionist in hopes of just making the problem go away. It's no different than a victim trying to appease an abuser.

@@TheRageaholic You're probably too young to remember the whole limited term of Governor Evan Mecham, whom even his own party did its level best to get rid of, who faced rather questionable charges after being removed by the AZ Senate and was, along with his brother (who'd taken over his car dealerships while Evan was in office), acquitted. Similar issues abounded, including procedural problems by the Maricopa County DA, which in the impeachment trial the senators didn't have to address. Mecham did run again for governor in 1990, and challenged the late John McCain for his US Senate seat, but was spectacularly unsuccessful at both. FWIW, the late Governor's wife was named Florence, and given the location of the main AZ State Prison (Florence, AZ) at the time, so the trial simply decided which "Flo" he went home to. Mecham was a fave subject of AZ Republic editorial cartoonist Steve Benson. My fave work of Benson's was, following an offer by Mecham's attorney, when, after his acquittal, the DA sought a rare appeal, to have his client and client's wife apply to the LDS Church to serve a mission as a senior couple (commonly done and appropriate, as Mecham was 64 at the time), having them riding their bicycles as Mormon missionaries through a Nigerian village, with Evan grumbling to Flo, 'Why didn't Crawford tell me the deal including preachin' to pickaninnies?"

I don't support whatever Cosby did, but I absolutely support due process of law for everyone. [EDIT: At just after 12 minutes into the rant, it looked as though you scared your dog!
