That's the thing about being young, you don't think things through. I met this woman who hated being in the Army and tried to get pregnant so she could get out. When she finally did get pregnant, her boyfriend didn't have a job. So, if she had gotten out, she wouldn't have a job either. She ended up having to stay in support the kid.

Well, it happens everywhere all the time! I don’t see what’s so difficult to understand. Being young you think you know everything. I got pregnant on purpose when I was 19.. however, I had a job and was paying my bills for a long time. But my mind wasn’t as mature as I thought.. she’s now 12.. sometimes I want another and then other times I’m so overwhelmed even though my life is pretty much together, I don’t know how I would do it.

How can someone get pregnant on purose when they know that are not ready to take on such a huge resposibility? don't they know that getting pregnant and having a child at a young age is something that can never be undone? What denise's friend did was irresponsible. she should've concentrated on finishing college, getting a good job, getting married and then having a child. she needed to work first on getting a very good education and then very good financial security.
