Right at 5:38 shows EXACTLY why Harvey is Harvey. He does not give people what they want, yet they keep wanting it from him and Harvey knew it and used that. He may not have used it intentionally, but he still used it as a form of self control and control over others, not in a malicious way. Mike wanted him to lay him out, but Harvey just walked away. Donna died for 12 years for him to tell her he loved her. Louis wanted Harvey's validation for years. Scottie wanted Harvey to tell her that he loved her.

I think its been shown multiple times, when it's a legal breakthrough you need either Mike or Louis but when they can't see a legal way to get it, you need Harvey or Jessica to pull a rabbit out of the hat.
