I see that window behind you! I think a sink and toilet upstairs would never be regretted. Wish I could show you incredible tiny toilet/sink combos, really great designers make under stairs, in my neighborhood. I go solo to dinner every night, since divorced and kids left. I'm totally happy on my own, with six grandchildren, two married children, and a sister and her spouse. My problem is all my friends are thirty to forty years younger, and I have no desire to rob the cradle. I have many people I know from walking my dog. You are a delightful person, very cherished. I take care of family, and house sit for neighbors. Five friends to ten friends, alone, is enough. Seeing you happy, gives me acceptance of who I am alone. I raised the kids with a single Uncle's never ending help. I worked 18 hours per week overtime for ten years, when my kids left. It was fun. I taught gardening to kids after school. I taught ancient history and 4th grade history through play with props. They gave me all non speakers who learned lines and vocabulary to perform in front of younger kids fearlessly talking after practicing dialogue. They chose the topic. Queen Elizabeth and King Phillip battle in channel with 8 ships of tar and pitch, snuck into Armada and set ablaze 8/8/1588, conquest of Mexico, tour of Africa, the sinking of the Titanic. My grandfather recited Mark Anthony's lines while racing his cars in the 1910s to 1960s commuting 3 hours, in maybe two between towns. Love is fun, and funny. Kids who laugh a lot, lose their fears. Creativity best way to develop self awareness. My sisters and I put on neighborhood plays for entertainment. One sister read the complete works of Shakespeare in 4th grade. Creating fun, very rewarding. You make work fun! Thanks for sharing!

I was thinking the same, had to look up the french word for saw 😂😂😂 la scier x
@foretb11623 жыл бұрын
Actually that is "une scie" a saw. 'Scier' is the verb - sawing. Also, Florian stated a French phrase: 'à coups de scie" which means cutting/sawing something with a sharp object in small spurts. The literal translation is what Florian said: "shot of saw". But in reality it is called "hacking through with a saw".

I've been tinkering with music and everything that surrounds it for most of my life, such as setting up my own studios, rehearsal rooms, recording rooms... so I have some (often fatal) experience with rockwool. I would only change one thing you said: "In winter it keeps the heat inside, and in summer TOO,". It has been one of my big mistakes, rock wool retains heat in a bestial way. My inexperience with this material has led me to build authentic ovens. Take special care that the room has very good ventilation.

Great progress Michael. Florian did a wonderful job videoing! @seanpalmer84723 жыл бұрын
The sound absorbing quality of insulation isn't really applicable in this case as you already have heavy stone walls. If you wanted to control sound transmission with stick/timber frames walls (both interior and exterior), the effect would be much more noticeable. It can also be used to control reverb within a room if you cover the walls with something acoustically transparent like fabric.
