I'm so glad to see you back and smiling Michael! I must admit, I haven't been keeping up with the channel for the past year, and last week I randomly remembered and binge watched a lot of old videos. I'm glad you are ready to get back into vlogging and dare I say, you look just as vibrant as when you first started your channel. I just rewatched this. The back door area has never been viewed much and it's hard to tell how big it is. will that be the bathroom? shower? Folks often spend quite a lot of time and money building/remodeling bathrooms. It doesn't seem large enough to be much more than a powder room. Your cottage seems so humble next to the chateau. But I quite like it. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the chateau. Are the upstairs bedrooms still to be done? Any plans for the attic? Is the adjoining apartment for your parents finished? I first began watching these vlogs for the DIY stuff, but it quickly became hanging out with friends. Still, I would like to see what you do with the chateau now that Billy is occupied with the convent. You both have fans/friends all over them world. We eagerly await your posts.

Nice work! I love to see someone who appreciates beautiful natural wood and doesn't paint it all. Maybe that's because at the moment I've taken on the task of removing the white paint on all of the original trim, door frames, casings and windows in my 1950s house. It's a pain but the original oak is so pretty and it will be less maintenance in the long run, so that keeps me going.
