The preparation for this race is far more impressive than the actual race itself. todays F1 cars are 70% larger than they were in 50s-60s-70s and the Monaco race track has not adapted to this so you get far less action as far as maneuvering and team strategy.
@jeffreyhutchins6527 Жыл бұрын
Have you tried to drive Monaco at all ? In a Sim or real life ? Every Driver has to be inch perfect every lap for the entire lap. It is the small things that matter at Monaco. I am retired now but worked for about 6 years for a company who had its head office in Monaco. I visited the place several times a year and I was privileged to be there one year when the Grand Prix was on and another year when there was rallying going on. I can’t remember the years, but it was between 2003 and 2010. The atmosphere during the events was second to none and there are plenty of good bars along the seafront. Exciting times but unfortunately most of the other times it was just like living in a concrete jungle with plenty of dog poo on the streets. The place is so small it is outstanding that they can host these world class events. If you are into expensive cars, then it’s the place for you with quite a few showrooms as well as quality vehicles on the road. The vessels moored in the bay are of the best quality anywhere, that I have seen.
