As a Sri Lankan who grew up on an another country where I drink coffee daily there, Tea is better in my opinion because I came to Sri Lanka after Sooo long and was offered to drink tea and I loved it! So much that I switched by drinking coffee daily to drinking tea daily and It taste really good! I loved the tea with milk 🥛 compared to plain tea and it tastes so much better! I am proud of my country 💪😎 🇱🇰

Yo we haven't quit coffee. It's just there are tea as the main export crop. Actually we drink a lot of coffee in Sri Lanka.

@@razorcortex0789 Yes, I can confirm. I had a group of 10 or so students in Sri Lanka, and 6 actually said they preferred coffee! They still have local coffee (the tea is better in my opinion.) There are many good coffee shops, especially in Colombo 07's Wijerama Mawatha which I have lovingly nicknamed "Coffee Alley."

It looks like Nas went to the Damro Tea Centre near Nuwara Eliya. This is because I remember the long line-up of tea varieties by their color. Back in February 2023, I visited that factory and the tour guide Priya was delightful. She explained the TEA acronym summarizing the tea production process: Tannins, Enzymes, and Aromaaaa 😂 After the tour, we also tried the white tea which had a extremely mild flavor. Priya explained that white tea usually comes from the younger tea leaves; thus, the leaves have had less time to develop a strong flavor. 🇱🇰
