Another wonderful trip, as beautiful as the attractions may be i would sadly have to skip as i dislike when people take advantage of others and that cab ride cost that quoted is a very upsetting thing to see. Things such as this can always happen in the best of places, however i get the impression this may be systematic and that isn’t right. Plenty of places in the world to visit and time better spent where they can appreciate people visiting and generosity can be extended. Enjoyed the restaurant where the owner was so gracious and welcoming….that is what makes for such a pleasant and exceptional memory. I hope you adventure lasts a lifetime as you are both so gracious in sharing your experiences with us all. Cheers.

I have been to Turkey twice in the past and I am going again in the near future to Istanbul. The food is amazing as always, hospitality - that depends. The taxi scam is the worse.

Definitely expensive due to extreme inflation. I been watching lots of videos in your travel with Jin around the world. Do u plan to travel in the long term or return to Korea someday? Very brave to retire at a young age if so . Congratulations 🎊 i be doing some travels myself in a few years, early retirement.

Thanks for watching. It's not that we retired. We plan to work again, probably do our own business when we go back~

The wife is a beauty. You are getting ripped off on that 8% fee. That first restaurant for lunch was very reasonably priced. That lunch in the U. S. easily $35.00

I agree about the wife! 😄

In Greece thet charge 9% fee to exchange dollars to Euros. The Central Bank gave them permission to rob the tourists and the banks are owned by foreign funds.

so sad to see Pamukkale with so little water, when I was a child it was full with water all white with 100s of natural pools big and small. I feel sad we as Turkish do not really take care of our beautiful country in the best way that we can.
@abitdifferentkoreans14 күн бұрын
Yes it should be taken care of.

:) Hi there! This is Jin. Thanks a lot for your kind words☺️ I only brought the essentials for clothes and makeup when I left Korea and have been getting what I need as I travel. :)

if you worry about the 8% bank exchange fee, in Greece is 9% and the banks are foreign owned.

I was initially contemplating a trip from Greece to Turkiye over winter in December for a week or so. However, I decided against it. Some of the warnings you issued against Turkiye travel and the scams can apply to Greece too. Ironically, despite the euro being quite high in relation to other currencies, Greece didn't feel that expensive comparatively.
@abitdifferentkoreans14 күн бұрын
We'll share our experience in Greece soon, but I can tell you that Greece was much safer and scam free. Feel free to travel to Greece! We really enjoyed Greece~
