Okay but the segue from defecation to vampirism around 1:10 reminded me of kappas, a Japanese swamp-dwelling monster which apparently drinks human blood... via the anus. Takeshi's Castle has been shown in the US under the name of MXC: Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. It's been dubbed over in English, but the scripts were entirely rewritten. It's great. Almost as great is a Famicom game developed by the eponymous Takeshi called Takeshi's Challenge. It's listed as one of the worst video games ever made (just before Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing) due primarily to its severely nonintuitive gameplay, wonky controls, and almost complete lack of premise.
