Those intending to have children will eventually have descendants who lead nations, and some day those descendants could encompass nations. The moral of Abraham's story is about how becoming a parent can shape the course of humanity's future, no matter how small your role may seem today.

I think the gentiles are going to start walking in the covenant of Abraham , Galatians 3-29 if you be in Christ then are you Abrahams seed and heirs according to the promise , and the Jews will say there is no way the gentiles can walk in the covenant of Abraham , unless Jesus was the messiah , and they will see and know that Jesus was the messiah .

God called him his friend. The crucifixion is the covenant with him coming full circle. The only way to prove that there is a friendship. To show there is an equality in relationship was for God to so what Abraham was willing to do. Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son because of God's omnipotence what Abraham was willing to do was known but God's intent could only be know by proof.

I’ve always viewed that the reason why the Covenant of Circumcision took place after Ishmael was born, but before Isaac was conceived was so that Isaac would be conceived through Abraham’s covenant with God. By altering the penis by removing the foreskin was a divine symbol that would bless Isaac through the moment of conception.

From the writings of abraham : CHAPTER 49 NOW, among the believers were Lot, the son of Haran, and Haran's daughters, Milcah and Sarai. 2. Milcah was fair, but Sarai was beautiful above all women. 3. Her face was as that of an angel filled with light, her cheeks as two roses in full bloom, her hair as spun gold which men treasure above all, her eyes as pools of blue reflecting the glory of God's sky, her nose delicate and lovely, and her countenance truly was fair as the sun. 4. Her breasts like two mountains rising above the plain of Shinar were fair to behold, and her complexion truly like the clouds in purity. 5. Her arms were comely, her hands perfect and delightful to behold, always in the service of those in need and quick to hasten to the service of the Lord her God. 6. Her palms were lovely, unmarred by her constant labor, her fingers long and slender. 7. Her feet were comely and always set in the path of truth. 8. Her thighs were well rounded and soft, yet never failing to sustain her in her labor of love in behalf of the servants of God. 9. Truly no maiden was fairer than Sarai, the daughter of Haran, for her beauty was greater than all other women and she excelled them all. 10. But with her beauty was great wisdom and perfect faith in the Lord and constant service in behalf of the saints, for her hands never cease from blessing the people of God.

The middle east were original white. It was first after the islam invasion it became what it is today. The ancient egyptian mummies had red hair and white skin: amenhotep 2. Tutmosis.. Yuya. Thuya. Hatshetsut. Rameses 2. "Ramesses II had red hair, and there were ancient Egyptians with blond hair too. Scientists have decoded the genome of ancient Egyptians for the first time, with unexpected results. Published findings in Nature Communications, the study concluded that preserved remains found in Abusir-el Meleq, Middle Egypt, were closest genetic relatives of Neolithic and Bronze Age populations from the Near East, Anatolia and Eastern Mediterranean Europeans. Modern Egyptians, by comparison, share much more DNA with sub-Saharan populations."

As a Christian I would suggest firstly waiting for a couple of years ,wait till you become an adult and see if your faith sticks. You should educate yourself if you plan on converting. Educate yourself on the scripture, history ,the denomination you plan on joining. Look at both sides and see how Christianity differs from Judaism. In the begining we were more alike than some Christians would like to believe, yet we became more distinct. We believe in the trinity, the virgin birth of Christ,in the resurrection and a lot of other things. If you plan on converting you should look into the new testament(since you as a Jew already should be familiar with the old one or the tanakh ,if in not mistaken?) I may be biased in suggesting you join an Orthodox Christian church, if you're looking into Protestantism be careful because a lot of cults sprang out of it, and be wary of Roman Catholicism. I hope my opinion was useful, I wish you look in finding yourself ,brother 🙏

As a matter of fact, the name ‘Jesus’ did not even exist in the English language 400 years ago-as evidenced by the fact that it was not recorded in the original 1611 King James Bible. But let's dissect that name anyway as that has come to be the accepted name of the Messiah today we need to address it. If the first part of the name 'Ιη' (Ie) comes from 'Iehovah' following the Jewish superstition not to use Yahuah thereby using Elohim in the vowel points resulting in ignorance of the name Jehovah. The Century Bible, Volume 1, pages 90-91 Sometime after the return from the Captivity, and before the beginning of the Christian Era, the Yahdaim (Jews) came to believe that the Holy Name Yahuah was too sacred to be uttered on ordinary occasions. It was said to be pronounced by the High Priest on the Day of Atonement. At other times, when any one read or quoted aloud from what is called the Old Testament, the word "Adonay","Lord," was usually substituted for Yahuah, and similarly the LXX (Septuagint Version) has Kurios, the Vulgate dominus, and the e.v. lord, where the Hebrew has Yahuah. Hebrew was originally written without vowels, but when the "vowel points" were added, the vowels of "Adonay" or "Elohim" were written with Yahuah, as a direction that these words were to be read instead of the word whose consonants were Yahuah; thus we find the combinations YeHoWaH and YeHoWiH. At the Reformation, the former being the more usual, was sometimes used as the Name of the (Mighty One) of Israyl, and owing to ignorance of its history was misread as "Jehovah," a form which has established itself in English, but does not give the pronunciation of the Holy Name it represents. Therefore the prefix of the name Je or (Ie) is in error. But does the suffix 'σους' (sous) mean 'saves' or 'salvation' in the Greek of the New Testament period? No. We know for a fact that "Iesous" was not then the proper way to translate the "intent" of the name given the Messiah that ‘Yahuah is salvation’ even in Greek or Latin. The Greek word for "salvation" is Strong’s entry 4991 soterion it is not sous. Strong's Number: 4992 soterion, adjective. Meaning saving, bringing salvation he who embodies this salvation, or through whom God is about to achieve it in the hope of (future) salvation So if the translators were even true to their own language it would not have been translated "Jesus" or "Iesous" but rather "Iasoterion". It must be obvious by this point where the suffix "seous" came from. Jesus holds to the Greek tradition of naming people after their pagan god of the Pantheon… Zeus. Why did the translator use "sous" instead of "soteria"? Greek naming conventions give glory to Zeus It should be noted at this point that the Greeks had a similar naming convention as did the Hebrews. Where the Hebrews used “YAH” in the construction of their names giving glory to Yahuah, the Greeks ended names and cities using “sous/sus/us” after their own god Zeus. Take for example the name of Julius Caesar “Gaius Julius” or the name of the Roman Emperor Constantine who literally created Christianity “Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus Augustus”. The suffix “us” was added to Greek and Roman names to give glory to Zeus where Yah was added to Hebrew names to give glory to Yahuah. Jesus is just such a Greek name like all Greek names ending in "us" that gives glory to Zeus! Dictionary of Christian Lore and Legend “It is known that the Greek name endings with sus, seus, and sous were attached by the Greeks to names and geographical areas as means to give honor to their supreme deity, Zeus." "This name of the true Messiah, Yahusha, being Hebrew, was objectionable to the Greeks and Romans, who hated the Judeans (Jews), and so it was deleted from the records, and a new name inserted. Yahusha was thus replaced by Ie-Sous (hail Zeus), now known to us as Jesus." Iesous in Greek So Yahusha is English for the Hebrew name of the Messiah (anointed King of Israel) and Jesus is the name of the Greek “savior” or Christos. It is that simple. But what does “Iesous” mean in Greek. It has no meaning in Hebrew; as it is not a Hebrew word. In Greek, “Iesous” literally translated means “Hail Zeus”. The name “Jesus” didn’t even exist until the 4th Century and was a later derivative of the late Latin Esus (pagan female god of salvation which later became Hesus or Hail Zeus then when the "I" grew a tail and became "J" it was Jesus. The Origin of Christianity by A.B. Traina "It is simply amazing to think that all these years, hundreds of years, mankind has been calling the Saviour by the wrong name!! It's hard to give up the name of Jesus because it's so deeply ingrained in us and much has been said and done in that name." Gospel of The Kingdom True Names and Title Dr. Henry Clifford Kinley 1931 - Ohio USA "In the 1611 KJ New Testament the name Yahusha appeared originally wherever the Messiah was spoken of. Yahusha means “Yahuah is Salvation”. Later the Messiah's name was replaced with Iesus (Greek) which later in the 1600's it became Jesus starting with the new English letter "J" which was introduced at that time. Further, the Greek "Iesus" comes from the name Zeus, the ruling God in the Greek pantheon." Gospel of The Kingdom True Names and Title Dr. Henry Clifford Kinley 1931 - Ohio USA 80 We see in historical documents that the name “Jesus” did not even come into existence until the 1600’s when the letter “J” was introduced into our English language. So the name “Jesus” is only around 400 years old! The Greek "Iesus" comes from the name Zeus, the ruling God in the Greek pantheon. "Jesus” is a transliteration of a Latin name only ONE letter off “Ioesus” pronounced hey-sus - which has no meaning in Hebrew, but in Latin it means “Hail Zeus”. If Yahusha’s name had been transliterated into our language, it would have been Joshua. If the name was treated properly using the compound naming convention Yahuah intended it would be YAH(weh)SHUA shortened to “Yahusha” using the short contracted form maintaining the meaning of the name and fulfilling prophecy that the Messiah “came in the NAME of Yahuah”. If the name was handled properly in Greek by the uninspired pagan scribes, it would hold true to the “meaning” of the name as given by the Angel to Joseph and Mary; then “shua” or salvation would have been translated “soterion or soter” not “sous”. So we see a gross mis-handling of the Messiah’s name at best but when you look back in history we see a Hellinization of the name with the intent to give glory to the pagan god Zeus. So both the prefix of "Ie" and the suffix of "sous" are in error and are mistranslations of the Hebrew name Yah and shua. If the Greek translators handled the Hebrew name properly it would have been translated into Iasotera which would be Yah-savior in Greek. In the 21st century we have no need to trace the Messiah's name through pagan Rome. We, today, can simply translate it directly from Hebrew to English leaving out all the transliteration errors going from Latin/Greek and all the English variations. That name is Yahusha… directly from יהושע Luke 13 35 “Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yahuah.’"

@@jamestungnung9514 The Messiah's name is Theophanous, a literal contracted form of a sentence name that gives glory to Yahuah One of the first things we should learn in our search for the true Messiah is His Name. The importance of knowing this man's name cannot be overstated. Names were and are very important to the Hebrew people, and their meanings are of great significance, not only to individuals, but also to entire families. The name Jesus is an invention of man which in no way carries the meaning of the true Name of this Man mentioned in the New Testament (we'll look at this name later in this chapter). The simple fact (which is easily proven from authoritative sources) is that this man spoken of in Scripture was born a Hebrew and he had a Hebrew name not a Greek name such as Jesus. There is no such name as Jesus in the Hebrew language. Reading from The Encyclopedia Judaica, we find that the supposed name Jesus is actually the common Greek form of the Hebrew name Joshua which is the Hellenized uninspired transliteration of Yahusha into English. The Encyclopedia Judaica, Volume 10, page 10 JESUS(d. 30 c.e.), whom Christianity sees as its founder and object of faith, was a Jew who lived toward the end of the Second Commonwealth period. THE NAME, BIRTH, AND DEATH DATE OF JESUS. Jesus is the common Greek form of the Hebrew name Joshua (in Heb. Yahusha). Jesus' father, Joseph, his mother, Mary (in Heb. Miriam), and his brothers James (in Heb. Yaaqob), Joses (Yahseph), Judah, and Simon (Mark 6:3) likewise bore very popular Hebrew names. The Encyclopedia Judaica gives us additional information concerning the Hebrew spelling of יהושע or YAH-SHUA, which is yod-heh-waw-shin-ayin or literally YAH-SHAU with the proper vowel points Hellenized into English as Joshua to again remove the name of Yah from the name. The Encyclopedia Judaica,Volume 12, page 805 This source also points out to us that this Name, correctly pronounced Yahusha, is a compound name constructed with the Tetragrammaton, which is the Name: Yahuah, יהוה. The Name Yahusha follows the common practice among the true worshippers of Yahuah (who did not follow Jewish superstition and remove the name of the Creator from the name), in forming and using compound names which brought glory to Yahuah's Name. The Jewish Encyclopedia tells us this about compound names which glorify Yahuah: The Jewish Encyclopedia, Volume 9, page 153 A distinctive characteristic of Bible onomatology is the frequency of composite names, which form at times even complete sentences, as in the case of Isaiah's son Shear-jashub (="the remnant shall return"). In the majority of cases these composite names are theophorous, referring to, or actually mentioning...the name of Yahuah using the shortened poetic form YAH. The Interpreter's Dictionary, Volume 3, page 505, tells us: There is an increasing tendency, especially in the 7th Century b.c. to use compound names which state a fact or express a wish... The most numerous are names compounded with 'YAH'... which number over 150 names in the Bible and are almost entirely personal or family names. This common practice to construct sentence names that convey an expression giving glory to Yahuah in Hebrew can be found in many names throughout scripture. The names in our modern translations were "Hellenized" to remove all Hebrew nature from them and remove the Glory given to Yahuah as they intended. This process of Hellinezation was brought about due to the wars between Rome and The Jews and the hatred for the Jews as a result. The new religion formed in Rome needed to present a "new savoir" that could be accepted by Greeks and a "new gospel" that eliminated all Jewishness from it. The names in our English Bibles are meaningless removing the “compound” name structures found in Hebrew as well as the very meaning of their names which give Glory to Yahuah: · Joshua - should be Yahusha meaning “Yahuah is Salvation” · Samuel - should be Shemuyl meaning “Heard of Yahuah” · Daniel - should be Daniyl meaning “Yahuah is my judge” · Elijah- should be Eliyyahu meaning “my God is Yahuah” · Isaiah- should be Yesha’Yahu meaning “Yahuah is salvation” · Hosea - should be Hosheyah meaning “Yahuah saves” · Joel - should be Yahyl meaning “Yahuah is our strength” · Amos - should be Amosyah meaning “Corroborated by Yahuah” · Obadiah - should be Obeadyah meaning “Worshipper of Yahuah” · Jonah - should be Yahnah meaning “Ornament of Yahuah” · Micah - should be Micahyah meaning “Who is like Yahuah” · Nahum - should be Nachumyah meaning “Consolation of Yahuah” · Zephaniah - should be Zephanyah meaning “Protected by Yahuah” · Haggai - should be Chagyah meaning “Feast of Yahuah” · Zechariah - should be Zecharyah meaning “Remembrance of Yahuah” · Malachi - should be Malakyah meaning “Messenger of Yahuah” · Matthew - should be Mattithyah meaning “Gift of Yahuah” · John - should be Yahchanan meaning “Yahuah is merciful” · Paul - should be Sha’ul meaning “asked of Yahuah” · Jesus - should be Yahusha meaning “Yahuah is salvation” The Name Yahusha (Heb יהושע) is just such a contracted compound sentence Name. It is a combination of Yahuah's Name into a contracted personal name יהו (YAH: yod-heh vav) and SHUA שע (shin-ayin), which means Yahuah is our savior. The Hebrew-English Lexicon of the Old Testament tells us that the name Yahusha means Yahuah is salvation. We see below that the original form of the name is יהושע Yahusha but was “later” shortened to ישוע which is Yeshua in order to remove Yahuah’s name: The Hebrew-English Lexicon of the Old Testament, by Brown, Driver, and Briggs, page 221 The Hebraic Tongue Restored gives us this information concerning the Hebrew word, shua. We find that this word comes from the word yasha: The Hebraic Tongue Restored, by Fabre d'Olivet, page 462 Gesenius' Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon To The Old Testament tells us that yasha implies to be freed from danger and distress: Gesenius' Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon To The Old Testament, page 811 The Hebrew-English Lexicon of the Old Testament, by Brown, Driver, and Briggs, page 447, tells us about the word yasha and shua specifically express the idea "Salvation is from Yahuah" Thus we have יהושע (yod-heh-waw-shin-ayin). This name is correctly pronounced YAH-SHU-A, since the letter waw (vav) in this compound is silent, just as The Hebraic Tongue Restored tells us. Hebraic Tongue Restored, by Fabre d'Olivet, pages 112-113 Conjunctive or Convertible Article.--This article in uniting nouns, causes the movement of nothingness, of which the character W becomes the sign, as we have seen: in making actions pass from one time to another, it exercises upon them the convertible faculty of which this same character is the universal emblem. Its conjunctive movement can be rendered by: and, also, thus, then, afterward, that, etc. But its convertible movement is not expressible in our tongue and I do not know of any in which it can be expressed. In order to perceive it one must feel the Hebraic genius.

I get kind of curious sometimes , I don't know how to answer the question, since the land was promised to Abraham's followers, why do the jews and the Islamic or Muslim people think that one of them has more to the right of Isreal. They've been fighting over it forever. But they both are followers of Abraham? Just at some point they followed a seperate prophet. Which Christians did as well. All three religions have fought over the land. I know the old testament shows the bloodline down to a certain point. Idk. I don't know much about Muslim beliefs tho.

You’re asking very important questions that will lead you closer to the truth. When you say Jews, Or Judaism, the words Judaism has an etymological root. You should study the root of the word, and you’ll understand that the word Judaism & Jewish came way after Abraham. It’s like starting a business and putting it under an LLC, to give you an understandable analogy. Now let’s study the etymological meaning of Christian. Obviously, Christianity, or the mere concept of Christianity and or the trinity came about way after Abraham, and even WAY after Jesus. Either you accept Jesus the son of Mary as a prophet, a messenger and a sign Till the end of time, or you do not, and you label his mother as a …. I won’t say the word. But this is what they said about his mother when she gave birth to a prophet who spoke from the cradle. Now the word Islam. The word Muslim. They have etymological meanings, as well…. You should study that, as well… And you’ll understand that maybe all these people of scripture were prophets, and some of their messages may’ve been changed with time, the message may’ve been meddled with by fallible men…. Because some only viewed women as property, like some “inheritance.” Peace Be Upon You.

Maybe it’s just me...I love Abraham and I love God but Abraham was no more connected to God than we are today. Whenever we are tempted to think that God favors one over another, this comparison diminishes our individual value to our Father. God favors us all equally and can and will do for you as he has done for the former. God didn’t need to promise us all he promised to Abraham because it is automatically due us by birthright. The promises of Abraham are also mine! Claim it today by embracing your Creators love 💕

@Dani Mother of Dragons Islam is the only non-Jewish faith that kept all the commandments of god. Thanks to Muslim that we know this commandments are even exist because christen and some jew abandoned this.

So interesting God said Abraham's children will be foreign in their own land and treated as slaves for 400 years, the slave trade happened over a span of 400 years

@Hilary Carleo well thanks for pointing the obvious but only one lasted 400 years

@Hilary Carleo maybe it's just a weird coincidence 🤷‍♀️ or sometimes in the past there actually was another group of people "Abraham's children" who were slaves for 400year but its unrecorded 💁‍♀️ indeed it is so saddening and disheartening that salvery is still happening till this day

Just a coincidence because aDNA sequencing shows strong genetic continuity in the Levant from atleast the Neolithic age. Whereas the Atlantic slave trade took people from West and central Africa. Even in Sub Saharan Africa there is genetic continuity, which debunks your comment.
