Went through the same exact thing. She idolized me and was telling me things like I was the best thing to ever happen to her, healthiest guy she's ever met, never had someone treat her so well and make her laugh so much. Then the disrespect came and she made sly comments about me, criticized everything I did, and flirted with another guy at the gym right in front of me. The moment I checked her for disrespect she ghosted me and blocked me everywhere. She also hopped on dating apps the same week she ghosted. Female narcissists are some of the most cruel and evil human beings walking the planet.

Happened to me over the summer. Started dating a gal back in June and she thought I was the best thing since sliced bread. Told me all kinds of shit, rushed to meet my family and vice versa. Said I was so special she never introduces anyone to her family. She'd look at me with the most googly eyes and called me handsome 24/7. Then a few months later the disrespect came, sly sarcastic comments, and when I call her out on it, she has the nerve to tell me she feels like she walks on eggshells with me. Tried turning it all around on me. First week of December she broke it off with me after a few weeks of distancing. I already knew it was happening, and I didn't do much to stop it. Glad I didn't and when she dumped me, I just walked off. Haven't talked to her since and don't even want to. Fuck all that shit. I feel less stress, fuck it.

So I’ve learned. Just got out of a relationship with a covert narcissist in October. The relationship was a year and nine months. The reason why is because we have a funny way of doing that as well, we could traumatize our partners and in a couple days just move on like nothing ever happened.

the guy I dealt with was a covert narcissist, I couldn't block him right away, because I still had feelings for him despite all the mind games he played with me, when he finally discarded me, he did this by ghosting me and changing his profile picture into one that showed him kissing another woman, then into a similar one that showed him holding their baby. I found her IG profile, she was suicidal, because there were pictures on there from pretty deep cuts on her arms. it's actually terrifying knowing how much damage these narcissists can do and how good some of them are at being charming, the guy I'm talking about, we met at work and he was pretty popular there.
