The Morata - Jese duo was incredible in Castilla and the Deuolofeu-Morata-Jese trio at the Spain youth levels really gave hope for a strong future that never came. Pre-injury Jese was a player that could only be compared to the elite level talents. You can blame the girls and the music... but the injuries he suffered weren't easy to return from. We're seeing it now with Ansu Fati.

Man... Seeing this guy brings me back to those cherished memories i had of the 2013/14 season. I really saw Jesé as one for the future, but his injury and life outside the pitch killed his career and left him to die. It's a real shame... I wouldn't go far to call him the next Ronaldo, but I did believe he could've have been one of the senior players for Real Madrid now. But he's not even a shadow of his former self...

From what I gather these are the reasons 1. Staying at Madrid, a club that didn’t believe in him, longer than he should have. Had he left to maybe a Dortmund or Milan as a teenager he’d have had a more consistent career and he’d likely have become a star 2. Poor timing of injuries, not the injuries themselves just the timing of it 3. Distracting lifestyle, turns out being a young father, with a baby mama and kid, and also dating a narcissistic and abusive super model whilst trying to balance a Reggae career isn’t a ideal. More seriously, if Jese had focused 100% on simply just football he would’ve been a super star, it’s still crazy how he was able to juggle this for a bit and still be a pretty good player imagine if he focused all of his attention towards football 4. Poor decision making all around: choosing to join Real Madrid as an academy player(a club known for luxury signings instead of developing youth), having a kid extremely young with the wrong person, choosing to leaves Madrid at the wrong time(he should’ve left as a teen not when he was starting to get notoriety at Madrid), travelling to the wrong league and environment, focusing on multiple passions and getting dragged into the clubbing and party lifestyle as a consequence, and his promiscuous lifestyle, Vengeful personality (wasted money and years in court only for his ex/baby mama to get 9 days of community service)
