(these numbers do not include pick order which would ofc up the numbers but that isnt really how many drafts are possible but rather how many ways of getting to those drafts)

I don't think these numbers are helpful.... Just as an example, nobody is ever going to pick rell ADC. And even once you limit the numbers to chpions playing roles they are actually able to play, there are matchups that will never be seen regardless of relevant power. IE nobody would ever pick Sona into Leona, because you be 4 kills down by level 6. It's also determined by team comps to further narrow things down, IE I will not pick rumble jungle if I have a nidalee top and a heimerdinger mid, as the 3 of us have almost no cc and all do ap damage. There is also then the fact that even the best pro players have a limit on how many champions they can play at professional level. Basically, the "mathematical" answer you provided is useless to reality. It's the sperical chickens in a vacuum problem!

what suprises me is that even Korea doesn't use the ward item. Afterall the narrative is that Korea lost its strength when the amount of wards on the map was reduced. So wouldn't they benefit greatly if they increased vision by 1 pink ward + 1 normal ward as soon as possible? Still they don't use the item at all (as far as I can tell)

Everyone on the team can have wards now and take out wards so adding 1 extra ward is just not worth it. Korea prioritized wards when people didn’t have trinkets

@@KevinSanscartier semi true. The trackers knife often referenced in these types of discussions was a must buy and basically a sightstone for junglers + the sightstone on the actual support. Before that you could buy wards just like control (or pink) wards. Also you say "everyone has wards now so more wards are not needed" which is also not entirely true because the arguement often used to described Koreas downfall is that the available vision on the map has significantly shrunk compared to their strongest time. So if Koreas downfall is connected to the map getting "darker" and therefore the necessity of making decisions based on imperfect information then increasing your available vision by 1 permanent control ward + 1 normal ward should be very helpful to a region that supposedly is worse because of less vision. Of course if vision is not the only factor in Koreas downfall then maybe analysts should stop using that as the number 1 example why Korea is worse now compared to before :D

@@6666Imperator I personally feel that’s over complicating it because now oracle trinket can completely counter vision especially with pink wards. You didn’t have the same option before to remove wards and since support owned most of the wards he would deep invade with jungler to completely demolish the enemy jungler. Those same conditions don’t exist anymore and everyone can ward level 1 so the tactics have changed by a ton. Korea invented the vision game (support and jungle) with certain conditions (no trinkets). Vision is important especially when it comes to objective control which is another thing to consider since objectives have changed immensely … turret plates, dragons, rift.

What I mean with my statements is that often the arguement that people use is "Korea is now bad because there is less vision on the field". Personally I believe that is not the only reason (of course the change of the vision game had a significant influence as well) for the change in power.

Watch a couple IG games or some from less consistent teams like Bilibili, and you’ll see some interesting stuff. It happens with all the teams, but a lot of the lower standing teams just take fights like absolute animals. Makes for a lot of fun watching.

I really like the idea of putting Bwipo as jg in a traditional team comp, but I don't know how I feel about having Bwipo, Nisqy, and Hyli all roaming. Their rotations might be insane, but I can see chinese teams exploiting their lack of strength in laning/early. I don't see EU teams exploiting their lack of laning prowess hard enough for them to warrant focusing on this issue either. I do really like the Adam pick up. I don't expect him to dominate this split, but maybe next year, I expect a lot of growth after working with Bwipo.
